LIBER PRAGMATIKA a basic explanation of magickal practices
first off some basic terms of the fundamentals of MAGICK (as in my own theorum in relation to magick and magickal practices).
MAGICK- is the science of implementing the WILL to effect change. this change is either personal/internal or external change.
WILL- is the desire of the SELF, this roots from the knowledge of the SELF and
from this knowledge is the application of MAGICK toward the direction of which the SELF desires to progress in either the two seperate purposes of magick - ie further GNOSIS/illumination and/or a desired result as in the DEVELOPED practices application.
SELF- is understood as the entity that is the practicing mage who is in a continuance of learning the intricasys of their inner workings as well as developing a system of understanding the workings of the COSMOSPHERE for the purpose of the application of the WILL. The self is also known as the MICROCOSM, or a entity that is seperate but also a part of the ALL or MACROCOSM.
GNOSIS- in the greek literally means "to know", in the context of my theorum i relate it to illumination or revelation of a greater understanding in matters of the outter COSMOSPHERE and the inner COSMOSPHERE. GNOSIS is a term of understanding that is related to the whole of existance/perception as knowledge as much as one might know themselves they might always know the outter "REALM" that exists within the range of the 5 perceptual filters and in a greater sense of GNOSIS that higher plane which exists beyond what I call the WALL which is percievable in MYSTIC conciousness. Consider GNOSIS to be a gauge of ones understanding of the ALL and the SELF , these as both seperate entitys and also GNOSIS is a term of the understanding of the relation of the SELF with the ALL.
MEME- is a term that relates to a conceptual pattern within thought that perpetuates a paradigmal reality. The meme is a sort of "thought virus" that exists within the perceptual loop that can "tint" or cause a discernable difference in the understanding of the conceptual understanding of the macrocosm or the microcosm, this is in essence in relation to how the microcosm is a set system of processes that are reliant on a foundation of relation precepts- ie tenets of belief and understanding of the macrocosm.
COSMOSPHERE-a complete system of understanding of the ALL.
In essence the practice of magick is a practice of the understanding of the self , the understanding of the ALL , and how these relate in the application of will. So Magick has three different distinct parts that together make a whole
