Recently a friend of mine send me digital copies of Andrew Chumbley's Qutub and Azoetia, which are extremely rare in print form (if you don't believe me, check out the price tag of one here (http://www.amazon.com/Azoetia-grimoire-sabbatic-craft/dp/0951926403/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/103-2565833-1005465?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1174277744&sr=8-1)).

I'd like to share them with anyone who might make use of them, but they're too big to upload. Mods: can I get permission to host these files on the forums ? Otherwise, if you're an individual who could make some use of these texts, I can send them to you. Just PM me.

I haven't made a chance to give them any more than a quick scan, but they do seem quite deep and powerful. It would be nice to have some discussion around them, so I hope we have the chance to share.

You'll need to PM me on this imagenerator...I am sure we can work something out. Sounds like they will need to be uploaded to Abrahadabra.com itself, which is fine with me...I will need to examine the files first as a matter of form...

Thank you Imagenerator for sharing those finds (and thanks M1 for putting them up :)) - I've only flicked through them, but they seem potent.

Well I guess I could have waited a day or two. :) I had imagenerator send them to me privately. Either way both of these books are MUCH appreciated because I have wanted to get my hands on them for a few years now. Now I can retire. Thanks imagenerator!

Your hosting of this work is very much appreciated, however it should be noted that the demise of Andrew Chumbly was considerably early in his life.

I have been voraciously studying the wortcunning practices in "Viridarium Umbris' and those in 'Azoetia' now that I have a copy due to your excellent, though risky, work.

noted KCh...and I cannot guarantee that we may not have to pull the thread at some point...I researched it as well as I could...I think we are ok with this but not 100% certain...

so grab it if you need it...

Andrew Chumbly seems to have crafted quite a surprising genius into these works. I was so impressed by Azoetia during the rare chance I had to study it, before this online copy surfaced, I am currently incorporating it into my own work. Replacing the my usage of Hebrew with those of Azoetia and generally leaning towards wedding the principles of Magick as laid down by Crowley with the genius of Chumbly. His aesthetic is very appealing to me.

I had been told recently that Chumbly wrote down secrets of the Magistrar tradition of Witchcraft, and that he payed for his negligence of oath. I have no evidence to back this up currently, but I'm looking into it.

What do you consider paying for negligence to oath?

Whatever was related during Chumbley's oath taking initiation. If he even had one.

Just a rumor I heard. Mere gossip really.

well, we had some doubts about this from the start but simply couldn't be sure...this arrived today:

It has been brought to my attention your site www.abrahadabra.com (http://www.abrahadabra.com/) has a thread which offers free downloads of two copyrighted works by Andrew Chumbley, namely Qutub and Azoetia.
http://forums.abrahadabra.com/showthread.php?t=1264 (http://forums.abrahadabra.com/showthread.php?t=1264)

This posting, and your endorsement of it, is an infringement of copyright and subject to prosecution by law. I can say too, that Andrew would have been very distressed at his works being treated in this way.

As the publisher of Qutub, I would request that this matter be given your most urgent attention.

Yours sincerely,

not that I buy into the mental duress of a deceased author of overpriced occult books or anything but copyright laws are something we do have to honor...
