I am an organizer for this years festival at Our Haven Nature Sanctuary in French Lick, Indiana. If anyone is looking to meetup in the area of Louisville and Southern Indiana, or even the whole mid-west for that matter, can certainly meet quite a few at this festival.
The 2007 Festival
Babalon Rising will have daily rituals (http://babalonrising.org/stage/events.htm#2), including Liber Resh vel Helios (http://babalonrising.org/stage/resh.htm), The Gnostic Mass (http://babalonrising.org/stage/mass.htm), and Saturday night's famous (infamous?) Feast of the Beast (http://babalonrising.org/stage/faq.htm#115). The festival site includes hot showers, skinny-dipping facilities, limited electricity, a performance stage, holy shrines, private fire pits, and an on-site hot food vendor. We encourage festival-goers to bring a tent, sunscreen, and personal snacks and beverages. Vending is FREE with a regular paid admission to the festival. This year's guest speakers and performers include the authors Rodney Orpheus (javascript:popUp('../popups/rodney-o.html')), Louis Martinič (javascript:popUp('../popups/lou.html')), and Nema (javascript:popUp('../popups/nema.html'))! We're bringing back many of your favorite speakers from last year, along with exciting new names in occultism. With musical appearances by the bands Mayan Ruins (javascript:popUp('../popups/mayan-ruins.html')) and Sexcult (javascript:popUp('../popups/sexkult.html')) this year's Babalon Rising festival promises to be even more exciting than last year's!
