Hello everybody! My name is Demetrius, my friends call me Dimitri usually. I am 38 years old, for many years I have been practising meditation trying to get to knowledge and to some kind of interpretation of myself in accordance with the cosmos.
You see, I've had and still have experiences that reveal that the world is more curious, strange, sometimes frightening and surely more multileveled when some people try to convince us about the opposite.
Having been born in Germany by Greek parents sometimes I feel that I carry two different worlds within me, and that's what makes it virtually impossible to be anything else than a cosmopolitan kind of person.
I feel as though our world has been taken over by dark forces and having the luck to be living in a country like Greece which once upon a time had a glorious and luminous civilization makes me think that one of the possible ways of saving the day is to practise philosophy in one's every day life, along with tolerance, a free, open and inquiring mind along with a humanitarian heart...
I keep a dream diary in which I am writing down any detail I can remember and find what meaning the dreams carry if there's is one.
Since my very childhood I came to understand my homosexuality but accepted the fact around my 19th year of age. I have been living with the HIV virus for ten years now and thank the Gods I am healthy and haven't got serious health problems.
I think that says it all about who I am... :D
