Well, how nice... hermeticism (and all other forms of esoteric and occult gnosis) interest me greatly. And a forum like this will, I am sure, be giving. Some of the names here (after readig a few threads) I have seen elsewhere (like OF) and most of them, I know, are of quality. This does not mean that all they say is correct, but it is at least honest or thought-provoking.
I am often regarded as controversial by my peers and I have some weird ideas (weird to others, normal to me), but for the most part I am misunderstood. I am deeply political (or a-political) in the sense that I don't like a lot what is going on in the world. But I will not dwell into these subjects at all unless they are directly relevant to the subject at hand.
The reason I am here is after all of a Hermetic nature... alchemy is close to my heart (spiritual alchemy) and although the 'real' chemical side is attractive I have neither the skill nor the space to perform in.
Mercury might be Hermes, and a great force... but don't play around with real mercury. So for this and other reasons I stick with the more internal side, and in my opinion, the side of alchemy that is the most interesting.

good to see you again deviadah. I don't get over to OF very much anymore and this site is more to my interests anyway.
looking forward to your posts! (I agree by the way, it would be nice to have a lab...if only to tool around with plant alchemy et al)...

I like OF, even if it's recovering from the Hacks... but since Alchemy is my main interest I see more of this here. Satanism and such things (and CM) is also fun... but I read more than write about it. As an amatuer in those matters I find it is better to shut up.
This does not mean I am any sort of Alchemical Magus by far... to be that would take a life (if not several).
I read in some introduction to yourself that you have tried to write about these subjects but found it difficult - but that you could do it easier in a forum. I am myself in the process of writing an esoteric history book (and it is a lot of work). So be prepared for questions/views on certain areas I've got stuck in. I will not put my name on it, nor sell it for money.
My aim is the spreading of knowledge, or the truths I have discovered, for the benefit of mankind. Such things should not be taken credit for nor have a price.

questions are where it's at...can't discover much of anything without them. I'll do what I can to answer what i can. I also have questions for others all the time so it's not like I'm just the Answer Guy or anything...
I think we are already in agreement on the importance of Inner Alchemy, and perhaps also the need to revamp that whole language to better meet the needs of ourselves in the present.
so anyway...fire at will...

Deviadah, Welcome... I find the internal side most interesting as well... It doesn't have to be said that you will have plently to learn and discuss here. Respect;

I would just like to add here that I would probably have stumbled into this forum earlier if I had realised sooner - stupid idiot that I was - that I should click on the triangle in the middle...
I went to the main site a while back a few times, following links from m1thr0s OF profile!
I guess it wasn't meant to happen then as when I eventually found this place - in perfect time with getting internet at home again.
My life always falls into place and I do nothing, just surf the waves. Fate, God or pure Magic(k)?

rofl...you're not alone...I've had people email me commenting on what a great symbol it was...and why haven't I built any kind of site around it yet etc?
I could post a little *instructions* but really...that would just ruin all the fun...:mlaugh:

No, keep it this way. It's like at the Grail Castle in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade where Indy has to do a leap of faith - step into a chasm, the bridge is invisible...
Like a test to find this place!

I actually clicked on the top of the pyramid first, and then went back to test all of the other little triangles to see where they went. I thought the "dummy link" source code on the other buttons that went nowhere was kind of a snide little joke, it made me giggle.
There's other strange things going on in the code I've noticed.
I hear a lot of trouble with the twinstar gate from practically anyone I send here. Technomancy....

boring. :p
That may be, but I am a being of constant change. To remain static is much more boring I feel (who knows next year I might be a Creationist)!
And I can still use these: :elephant: (to make it a little more crazy)
