Hacks and Tutors

Question 1:
Well I was wondering, and perhaps this has already been discussed, but has steps been taken to make sure a Hack can't loose all the great data that has already been assembled here?

Question 2:
As to the AF University I noticed that its says that in order to have a class there a screening process will first be made. Does this mean a screening of all the posts a person makes? Or is there a sort of application that can be made? Or a test class to see if a person has got what it takes?

Question 1: We are about as safe as it gets. We run daily backups to a secure location and since we are not on a public server we are not subject to the kinds of attacks that are typically exploiting weaknesses in public servers. Servers that juggle hundreds or even thousands of accounts are simply full of holes and hackers know all about these holes. The only way around that dilemma is to go to a private server such as we are on here. Very few occult sites enjoy this since it's ordinarily quite expensive.

Question 2: I haven't got around to a public posting on this yet but the application/screening process is more aimed at assessing the course material itself to determine if it actually warrants the creation of a separate classroom forum. Many perfectly fine topics may yet be deemed better suited to open discussion. Post count helps us to know who our instructors are but it is not 100% necessary to be a Senior Member here. We would be looking for some indication that our Instructors actually do know how to conduct a classroom situation without it falling off into pandemonium of course.

I'll try to get to a general announcement on this soon. We are looking to add more classes.
