We actually had this set up before but nobody was posting there at all. Since there has been a recent request for it and since it is hard for me to imagine any serious occult discussion forum that does not at least include it, I am adding it back into the mix at this time.
Abrahadabra has historical roots in Gnosticism (as Abracadabra) though I personally believe it hails from the Hermetic Alchemists' work in Thebes and may ultimately trace back even further. Nevertheless it certainly made its debut among the Gnostics where it was used primarily as a healing talisman from the scant historical accounts available to us.
In a more general sense, Gnosis itself is very much at the heart of Occultism & Magick & Mysticism so that omitting it from our conscious view is inadviseable in any case. Hopefully a few members will take up the mantle and help to get it populated with some relevant discussions. Gnosticism is not my strong point but I would be happy to assist in any way possible to establish a good resources sticky or anything else that can be done top-end, so let me know if you have any ideas or need any assistance please.
