Now that you say it- its quite true. Im already so used to browsing through insufficiently well structured web-pages that I even didnt "notice" anymore. But its of course completely inconveivable to me why they dont put the major links to the various sections on the top...anyway there are uglier ones, too- e.g. the ones that look like they were written in the 80s with big neon letters all over...unfortunately some of them even are ok content-wise...I also know many "100% serious" pages of academic institutions who are terribly ugly...

It is my belief that artless intellectuals should be strung up by their toes until either one of two things happens:

(1) their brains seep through their nostrils (which would presumably retire them for good)...
(2) they holler "beauty equals truth" with great conviction, at which point they will be cut down and wined and dined like royalty...

hehe...

Yeah at least I think the "new scientists" should all take a basic course in aesthetics, at least. That also may help them getting rid of their nerdy image, quasi en passant.

"Neo-platonism" is so funny! -> being *intellectual*!...maybe also a course in martial arts (to support their LINE of argumentation)- we should put together a new currciulum, there!

I stand corrected. To tell you the truth my studies on drugs and their effect have been curtailed in the past six months or so so I must plead forgiveness for such stunning errors. Like writing no2 instead of n2o on the title of the nitrous thread. Shame on me. Thanks a bunch for clearing that up and this, I mean that. That's the kind of shit you just don't want to screw up.
