http://abrahadabra.com/images/firebullet.sm.gif Introduction:
The scientific description of a dream is an experience of a sequence of images, sounds, ideas and emotions usually during sleep, especially REM sleep (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/REM_sleep). Dreams have played an important part in most cultures, and since ancient times humans have assigned meaning to their dreams. They have seen them as being both prophetic of things to come, and to reveal the true internal state of the dreamer him/herself. In modern times Sigmund Freud (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sigmund_Freud) and Carl Jung (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Jung) have both done important work in this field. It is never just a dream! (dev)
