Hi everyone,

I've came across an interesting topic yesterday, which is what is called in tibetain mysticism
a tulpa. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thoughtform#Tulpa

A tulpa is, in Tibetan mysticism, a being or object which is created through willpower, visualisation, attention and focus, concerted intentionality and ritual. In other words, it is a materialized thought that has taken physical form.

http://www.davisanddavis.org/harvey/tulpa.html

Why I'm so enthusiastic about the whole idea is because I believe there is a way to spot tulpas in chaotic pools, around what Lorenz called strange attractors, or something like that.
I'm stating this around the fact that if you can see logic patterns in chaos, like faces, then, there is a form of intelligence inside chaos and maybe it can resolve many things, health issues being one of them.

If you know anything that could help me out, tell me about it.

Dr. Sattler, I refuse to believe you of all people, have never heard of the concept of strange attractors.

- Dr. Ian Malcolm

Why shouldn't Y have a little concealed unity of its own?

hehe,

My references about Crowley are from 0 to none...lol.
I should really get into his work sometimes.

man...that wiki article positively reeks of mental masturbation.

one doesn't really need to be spitting out 10 and 12 syllable words every 1.5 seconds to do this topic justice...

but then again, aside from the term itself, there's nothing really very much new here is there? Not to me at any rate...

It's a useful topic though...thanks for bringing it forward. We need to reel in some other references on this of which there are literally thousands out there...

Well Apopheros, I thought about this and I don't know anything about it but basically the whole point behind chaos theory was that chaos wasn't really chaos at all.

For example, the butterfly effect as described by Lorenz, is the example of the complexity of a perfectly ordered yet intricate system. According to chaos theory, there's really no such thing as chaos, only complexity beyond (normal human) comprehension. So yeah...intelligence, I guess?

I mean m1thr0s's mirrors are strange attractor models. Stuff like that is a good analysis of this intelligence you see behind the tulpas, I imagine. You look at the big whole and you can sort of predict where all of these weird little abherrances are coming from. So it's totally about "AS ABOVE SO BELOW." (at least for me as I understand that)

Anyways I don't claim to know shit about Chaos theory, it's been 13 years since I studied it seriously. I do know that information pollution is a bigger problem than understanding strange attractors is. Simplification is awesome.

Here, try playing with some strange attractors:

Gosh, you just shouldn't have posted that fun link, I won't get a thing done now

It speaks to me a lot about magickal energy though, so I will learn as I play

Cool link Naomi...

Yeah...pretty much all talismanic and sigil magick works this way but some things are more vividly apparent than others...fractal stuff for instance...in my case, magickal square stuff or I Ching stuff is the same way because I can see all these patterns within the patterns etc...

But Yantra-Mantra stuff of all kinds is geared to this.

Music does this sort of thing all the time so it's not just a visual deal. Both Sound & Light play at these parameters...

Wow Naomi, nice link! Thanks a lot :)

Only a few second of playing with it and I started seeing small faces forming out of it, and Tree of light patterns or Eyes?. I've got to show this to my angel fishy, he'll flip out!!! lol
This is one of my favorite mystery. Why such a force field exist in 2D? Those faces...just zoom in and you'll spot them

I believe that chaos is what it is until you put a focus on it. Then it becomes order or logic. Once chaos becomes logic, it catches your awareness, brainwashes the fuck out of your brains and leaves you smiling alll day long:D
No seriously, sometimes I like to consider chaos like the dissolved state of matter, or future matter. because what you see in chaos is equivalent to a dissolved possible future focus. There are subtle structures in chaos that are, I believe, close to amiotic state of being because of how it must have looked like before we were born. Did you know there are vibration receptors in our eyes?

With tulpas, the problem is the rate of densification because it can't sustain itself with a force field for a long time according to what I read. Maybe the monks found a way to lengthen the rate of living of the tulpa. How they did it is what I'm looking for. If they did it with mental energy, I think they kinda stopped time or mess with a Doppler matter effect lol...

I've got to put more thinking into all this:tnerd:

Oh yeah I knew you were a cheater..ever see A Beautiful Mind? My brain actually works that way. It's not quite that graphic but the end result is the same...

The little game he liked to play with stars is like that as well...so in a very real sense the whole universe is laid out this way relative to how our minds work...that's why there's several hundred forms of astrology...probably tens of thousands of variants on tarot and so on...

Strange attractor (http://www.thecleverest.com/content/attractors.html)

Concerning tulpa, I believe you can summon the tulpa Denso with this strange attractor if you orbit the 2 dots inside the borders. Try it out and Look carefully inside :twink:
