Hey everyone,
I have someone close to me who has develop a form of arthritis and I was wondering if you know of some efficient treatment. I have start looking around the web but I was looking for your personal experience with the matter, if you know of people with the same condition. I'm looking for info about the other forms of rhuematoic diseases too.

What sort of arthritis? Some are systemic and some mechanical and the treatments will differ depending on the source.
I actually hate the term arthritis ( literally ijoint inflammation) being as it's one of those throwaway terms describing a symptom rather than the core issue

Ibuprofen is a great non-prescription treatment for the pain and swelling, although using the maximum dosage (2400 mg daily) for an extended period can cause intestinal bleeding. I concur with Naomi on Calcium Citrate (I like it to have a 400 mg daily dose of vitamin D with it) and Glucosamine and Chondroitin is helpful for some people.
With any illness, I think the person should experiment to see what works best for him.
