Change can be defined as the alteration of the current state of one's experience. There are two types of change, willed and natural. Both of these can further be broken down as positive or negative. There is no reason of breaking change down into 'big' or 'small' because how much impact a change has is purely dependant upon the individual.

Natural change occurs whenever some uncontrolled force (nature, God, etc.) is responsible. Natural change follows a predetermined course of events designed to help you recognize (or at least subconsciously work towards) your life's true purpose (your true Will). The way in which this course is chosen has to do with the Karmic requirements of your microcosm to rejoin the macrocosm. Thusly this type of change is of a passive nature, needing no action on your behalf.

Willed change is anything which you directly cause to happen. It is the very definition of Magick according to Crowley. This includes virtually any action originating from your Will.
