View Full Version : Parallels between occult techniques and machine/human interface (and mechas!)

I remember having had a good discussion with oak on OF about the parallels between robots/mecha in anime and several occult topics and their correlation...

In these anime stories, if one wants to pilot a mobile suit one has to give commands not only manually but also via "nudges" of the mind...

Meanwhile in the real world: there are attempts to make computer programms controllable by thought/brain waves alone, and many paralyzed ppl have volunteered to test them...they are still very primitive but I already saw that its possible to move around a cursor with "mental power"/brain patterns alone, and enter simple commands...

Many(?) of us have seen parts of their god bodies in meditation: and didnt they have several pairs of arms, sometimes, like some of the Indian gods, only that they are normally not seen cause they "move"/vibrate so quickly?...could they be used for "piloting" complicated machinery in the future...maybe we will have an edge in controlling those brain-triggered comps and machines cause we have excellent concentration and visualization skills honed by our "magic".

What do you think, friends? (and oak if you can find the post let me know). Any thoughts/links or general comments on this topic? :)

I have a beautiful relationship with my car. I related once on Occult Forums that when I first drove him off the lot I asked what its name was - actually, Gregory asked and he said "Soijiro" and I answered without thinking (the key to mastery of channeling) "No no, sochiro."

Later I discovered that the name of the founder of Honda is Soichiro Honda.

It's a Honda Civic Hybrid.

Anyways he loves it when I play my music loud and cruise down the freeway. One of my best friends.

I've actually learned how to access the steel current a little better lately so machinery has become even more alluring to me. A few days ago I had a radioactive isotope run through my blood so I could get my brain and heart scanned for abnormalities due to humans fucking around with my delicate mechanics and I didn't even care what the ladies at the computing stations thought I leaned over and gave that giant Gamma Camera machine a smooch after it caressed my mind in response to my friendly hello.

I just saw Transformers too so I am all hyped about this Kuroyagi. You are so in tune with me. What do you think of that, and how do you think Seijuro fits in with the capital "H" bridge of the II? LOL

Heiko Seijuro XXX ;)

yes, naomi! do you think I dont read your posts? of course I knew the story about your car! and I have even seen the photo...

I find it a cool thought that actually all humans have their multidimensional mechas in orbit already but dont realize it and some that do dont know how to run their "goddesses" (god bodies) properly. as Hölderlin wrote: "Very close and yet endlessly far away is the living God" haha

..no but I also have a good relation to my computer. If I look at various people some have more "affinity" to machines than others. This often manifest in the "luck" they have when purchasing electronic hifi etc tools and machines. My brother for example has bad luck there, he got some apple vaio notebook but could hardly use it cause it was always fucked up, funnily he also doesnt understand plants too well. Before any magical training or relaizations my own "luck" was average or slightly above average (with computers) but its good with cars...generally its embedded into a greater occult theory maybe that is based on a certain "feeling" or intuition when you see a thing...then you can already feel if it has some "illness" or not, to me it looks askew then- as if the thing (the toaster or whatever) had a lopsided grimace...and then again this is embedded into an even greater theory: about the communication and relation with all things respectively the mixing of ones being with others...mixing can also be on the physical of course- like with cyborgs and various cyber implants...blah²..(and also: if you didnt see my reply yesterday- I thanked you for reminding me again of the Saturn state of affairs in your thread that got deleted, its usable to me anowadays, and I was already thinking of asking you about it...enjoy mars its a beautiful planet as I said...)

Awww you liked my thread? Wow you are so charming I love you! Really! I worked hard on it. But like anything I don't take it too seriously. Mars has a bad rep and needs lots of positive reinforcement to imagine in more positive threads, I can't stand the old dumbed down version of Mars, it needs to be much scarier and less about bloodlust than it is, There's so many intricate threads flowing around the zone girdling Mars I can't even begin to get into them in one short article - I won't bother now anyways it's more fun harnessing the gravity fields of Mars than it is talking about them. Especially when you're upset or stressed out or something, it's very energzing just running the plains there and checking out the local mental fauna.

Ever try putting crystals near your computer? You have to be careful because the box will acclimate to the enhancement and if you pull it off the computer tends to crash or not like it much.

I like mods and lighting on my box, adds to the psychodrama of the whole technomancy experience.

I'm not good with hardware though, sometimes I can intuit software but greg is really good at it, it's actually in his personality type (kiersey) forget the name.

But anyways do you do mechanical stuff? Idk if I'm good at fixing things or not I've never tried.

And this is M.S. Double X

Pilot a diff mech, get diff results, have diff characteristics, so on.

EDIT: some real magic can take place here, imagine for example someone piloting a mech, but the pilot being Mugen, or even Hiko Seijuro. This means that in one sphere, the Hiko aspect would be principal, but in another sphere, that(hiko, mugen, et al.) sphere is piloting the mecha of said sphere.

well, we need to arrange first contact, first.

With whom? The Americans or the Japanese? ;)

But thats not how it will be in the near future- humans may construct mobile suits and space technology and humans might fight it out between themselves at first too, they love to try out new things remember? theres no contact needed...or maybe you mean the contact with the gods with our own gods our mental possibilities and/or friends in realms of higher vibrations- yes they are here and might fight along...but all in all no tangible alien contact would be needed- if you mean that...(??)...maybe we will also establish astral projectional technologies on an everyday basis and thereby cirumvene the c-speedlimits, or we may even do it by other means...well, in any case the thought of a creative mind travels faster than light speed to the borders of our known universe (EDIT: and of course even beyond!) already so its quite a playground we got ourselves here...

izi

He means contact with outerspace - most humans can't get their minds off the planet.

Is that right SJ?

ALIENS eewwww!

I remember having had a good discussion with oak on OF about the parallels between robots/mecha in anime and several occult topics and their correlation...

yea i remember that, i think it disappeared in the infamous shipwreck :(

i loved that thread, mostly incoherent and all over the place musings about the workings of the "subconscious" and everything else related or not.

where the mecha came in, i think was when i was talking about how the subtler bodies feel like giant frozen statues when accessing the subtler "heights" (1cm feels like 1m etc) and how it's possible to "assume" them if you assume their particular form when at that particular "height". also, when in trance and moving you can sorta scroll through the bodies linearly or the bodies can scroll through you, hard to tell, but i'm reasonably sure the four handed statues of god(desse)s originated from such experiences(precisely done mudras are a nice "access point"). so a mecha that is controlled with the mind would be a neat-o metaphor, you could control it when your body presence encompasses it.

there was alot more but i forget :(

would be interesting to know though, who came up with the idea that a mecha is controlled with only the mind instead of buttons and levers and pedals?
