I think it would be good form to start a thread about DNA since, after all, it's what all things are about! This topic is extremly interesting and has several side-topics that have already been discussed and can be crosslinked.
DNA and the esoteric have a lot in common, especially concerning the Double Helix symbol.
I leave it to the forum members to take this thread wherever it needs to go, I don't have a certain aspect regarding DNA to start this with other than supply the spark.
All I know, and feel, is that DNA is nothing new, although new in the history of science, but not in the esoteric/occult history. The Ancient knew something we don't. I believe that within the double helix lies the answers/clues to telepathy, astral travel and the Lost Speech.

I cannot think of a more astounding realization then what I am about to suggest to you here and now.
Ancient writings refer to the Coiled serpent, winding stairs, ladders etc. These references are being shown by scientists to actually refer to DNA.

Now Dr Jeremy Narby of Stanford Univ. investigates how people in the Amazon jungle know the molecular structure of plants used to heal disease. The people told him that the plants themselves instructed them. Narby concluded via his investigation there and the understanding of the coiled serpents and winding stairs of mythology that it actually was the DNA in the plants communicating with the DNA in the people.

We are made in God's image. Then meditation would be receiving light particles via the Pineal Gland which means we are actually receiving God's DNA. God's DNA communicates with our DNA and an encrypted message is decoded! Now consider the DNA of natural substances we take for healing. Besides being a physical healing agent, is the DNA of the substance actually talking to our DNA. Then our DNA decodes the message which is sent to the brain. Suddenly we feel that we need to do something different. The message got through.
Physicist John Gribbons says "some of the DNA's instructions remain inactive until the level of maturity has been reached." Thus meditation alone will not deliver the message. There must be the understanding of how this occurs.
Now we await the light from Supernova 1987a to reach earth around 2000 according to NASA. Will this be Cosmic Photon and will it's DNA communicate with our DNA.? If we are listening and understand what must be done, it will.

One last thing. Last week, scientists placed a coded message in a dot of DNA. They then put it on a piece of paper and mailed it to themselves. They magnified the DNA and read the message. Don't you see. We are now learning exactly how we receive instructions from God. We watch ourselves and collapse the light wave to a microdot or particle. The particle enters via the Pineal Gland of the brain. At that point the DNA serpent of God winds itself with our DNA and cadecues appears. The winding serpents bring knowledge of universal healing.
The external DNA communicates with our internal DNA. They are the same and this is how we talk with plants and other aspects of nature. It is not brain to brain. It is DNA to DNA. And when we meditate we move out of the way. We separate from thought and then the higher realms of DNA speak to each other and we are shown way.
This is most important. By the way DNA is of the Genes. Now add is and what do you have Genesis. And the serpent in the garden is DNA talking to your DNA and telling you to take the fruit and learn.
Why we, the "people of the concrete jungles" do not understand god, is directly related to the intense mono knowledge our leaders possess anddistribute. The more you learn to serve the "economy", the less you understand, feel and live with god. The price is high, morality low and shrinks earn a fortune.
