Warning: its full of fantasy and lies. I will write it completely as I want. (Esp. Shinto scholars: get lost!)

So it begins:
Japan was a Goddess and the little sister and daughter of Venus. One day she was lying on the shore of Mother Asia, her back turned to the gently lapping sea of the Bay of Bamboo she was watching the athletic play of the young naked gods on the great continent. Very beautiful she was to behold and only sparsely clad in white cloth. So absorbed she was by the play that she didn’t notice that another young god was approaching her with a very large and shiny sword with that he was about to strike on her. Only in the last moment she became aware of the menace and in trying to avoid it she pushed herself off from the shore so that she came to lie in the middle of the bay where she still lies until this day. But even so, she had miscalculated the stroke: the young god’s sword had cleft a deep wound in the sea behind her back going down all to the flesh of the earth where she still bleeds today and Japan sometimes bleeds with her. In Japanese this wound is called Mariana that translates as Evil (ma)- Rift (ri)- Hole (ana). For a short time Japan became the lover of the young god who had attacked her; strange are the ways of the gods to man.
There were many gods, both greater ones and lesser ones, and strange, mythical creatures on the island of Japan of which I cannot tell here. But one day, very long ago, others came across the seas who brought people with them whose ancestors were descendants of the inhabitants of Lemuria, the island in the middle of the Pacific that got destroyed by the gods. Then they had roamed the free plains of the young land of the West. Those were: the clan of the Wolf, the clan of the Fox and the clan of the Bear who also brought the clan of the Wild Boar who were befriended to them, and occasionally lessers of the Indian clan of Raven also came from across the sea but were more tolerated than welcomed; but the clan of the Fox was their leader because it was beloved by Japan in its aesthetic Yin nature that they shared. Together the clans ruled the land of Japan, the little sister of Venus, and for long years there were only empresses. But one day a young noble also wanted to become emperor and ruler. He was incited by his male yang nature- though he was still an effeminate, dreamy sissy boy by today’s standards ;), beautiful of body and adorned with rich jewelry and ocre painted lips and green eyelids he loved to watch the moon and the wild ocean and it was in contemplation of latter that something awoke in him.
Thereupon he was conversing with the Ravens who were wise but also garrulous and told him of India that had once ruled China and that once China was strong enough to partly free itself: It had been allowed by the gods to discover the High Yang Art of Geometry in the form of the Loshu diagram- an ancient device that could create and control whole universes, but that the Chinese simply used as a means to make their country majestic, war-like…prosperous and civil and later as an ideal for the layout-grid of their capitol city of Xi’an with its nine fields, its eight noble houses and its all-present center. Wielding this power the ruler of that city could unite China under his command. Now the young Japanese man, son of the Sun of Japan, named Jimmu Taiyou, sent some of his spies to China to obtain the powerful weapon called Geometry for himself so that he could rule the land. China willingly agreed with him upon the condition that Japan become His, Chinas, lover from then on. And so it happened that the empresses were subjugated and replaced by male emperors and Japan became the lover and concubine of China who was an honest but a bit boring lover. Later the Emperors of Japan even adopted the geometric layout for their own imperial city Kyoto from where they ruled the land. (Accidentally this layout pattern was again used by the rash and youthful America that also dominated the planet by its means of Yang power for some short time.). Then the emperors of Japan, in order to further consolidate their power, even introduced Buddhism, the Indian colonial device that had failed in China, and that brought with it strong demonic forces that reduced the rule of the old clans and banished them to small reservoirs in the far North. Only the Foxes were still widely present and remain so until this day because they are cunning and can shape-shift and are very beautiful as is the nature of all Japan. Because just as China had discovered Geometry Japan had invented the Art of High Aesthetics which means: its very own indelible style. And no foreign lover neither China nor later America could take it away cause Japan was always very seductive and awe-inspiring in her glamorous power of enchantment. And so even the male Emperor and later the even more warrior-like Bushi and Samurai were deeply impressed by this style of beauty and could not help but to express it in themselves. Upon hearing this even the young ancient god Eros, one of the fathers of creation and of Venus had to laugh at this shrewd but innocent strength of the maiden that is called Japan!
Now this is where the Dragons come into the story and that always means that it becomes universal- this is when it "got nasty" as the modern idiom tells us. Because the dragons were those who had graciously allowed China to discover the use of Geometry in the first place, they had permitted it; they are revered and sometimes feared by the gods and only rarely even bother to meddle in the affairs of man. Now the Dragon Lord of Japan, Ryuu, who had come from India with his wife Benzaiten, had always supported the Emperor because Dragons are furthering Yang and the rule of Heaven, but now he wanted to "up the ante" and gave power to the bucolic retainers of the Son of the Sun who were even better warriors than latter. These were later called the Samurai or warrior class and they ruled Japan as principes inter pares with the still inaugurated Emperor for long years until young America got entranced by Japans beauty who had sealed herself up and made herself independent from her former lover China; but that’s another story then.
