If we take a normal human being as our puppy for this thread, making an assumption that the normal healthy human being is empowered akin to how children behave. Then we make another assumption that whenever the human subject suppresses some part/aspect of itself, it becomes de-empowered about that aspect, which is the same as to loose an attribute of oneself. The part is still there and active, but it is just disconnected from accessing the rest. When enough parts get hurt and suppressed, the overall energy level is decreased in direct relation to how many suppressed parts there are. When suppressing something, one exercises mental control over it, which in turn tightens up the body and the mind. This mental control will also have it's share of the energy-pie, which means that it takes both energy to keep the part suppressed, as well as loosing the parts energy.

We all know how fun it is to look at ourselves as all-powerful gods, juggling multiverses with vast fireworks, but how easily it is shattered by a mere moth who lands on a hurt part *grin*.

Depending on our fears and how we perceive reality, we conjure up all kinds of symbolical links to this hurt part, with usually a guardian protecting the hurt part, which simultanously contains the suppressed emotion. The more deeply one has suppressed it from ones source, the more it might look cloddy and take upon weird proportions. For myself the hurt part(which is me) is countered by the action or the person making that hurt part. Which means that the guardian will be the action/person containing the emotion one wanted to express. Well this is the core of it atleast. Depending on how one functions, the way to the guardian and the part might be laid with all kinds of hinderings and slowdowns. The Guardian itself might be anything from demonic satan clawz to some benevolent god trying to eat you up by being 'nice' to you :D This might lead to a situation where ones True Power lurks in the dark and menancing blackness. Hence shadow-power.

So this thread would be about various techniques/discussion as how to approach those tension points and release the underlying 'thing'. And/or how to manipulate those Guardians without having to go through the emotion, which would enable to still use the hurt part, without yet going through it. Art/Expression/etc. is of course one quite powerful method in making the emotion conscious, but I'm myself more interested in more scientific/technological approaches to this.

Hmm... Thought about one self-healing way, which could work providing one knows what needs to be done. The peculiar phenomenom of trying to tickle oneself comes up in many other aspects also, which unfortunately is the case for myself with energy-type healing. It's like sending 2 identical notes to each other, hoping that the other heals the other, which becomes quite boring heh. So I was thinking that if one would de-sync the energy one sends to a frequency higher/lower than what oneself is residing at. It should give a whole new fresh approach to this.

Perhaps multipersonality is a natural way to try to achieve this. Unfortunately it seems to be a too slow process for one life-time.

Normally, I would say that this concept should be placed with the so-called "soft" sciences, such as psychology. However, I am reminded that there are also psychological studies which are "hard" sciences. Biological basis of behaviour and neuropsychology are two examples. Looking at what you've said from this angle, I ponder the usefulness of biofeedback. Learning to attenuate yourself to your body's electrical rythmns as your mood flucuates would afford a great deal of control, not too different (IMHO) from some of the "prana-bindu" concepts spoken of in Frank Herbert's Dune saga. Furthermore, since our moods are biochemical in nature, those things which we've crammed into the psychological closet known as the shadow will have distinct biophysical reactions. I personally can attest to the physical sensations of a biochemical/neuropsychological unitary state (i.e. the berserkergang). Learning to recognize these signs in our self and manipulate them opens up the door the very core of our "shadow-power."

That's really where the power of various energy and/or body treatments lie. They dissolve the physical blockages in the body, uniting that aspect into the whole. Also raising the kundalini triggers the nerve synapses in the body, relaxing and healing the whole being. You might want to try to elevate your body electricity by concentrating on the solar plexus nervous complex.

It's now the second time that I'm uniting with all the demons I can find inside, and of course it has turned the whole reality upside down by giving strength which I haven't seen in any of the other realities. With this perspective, they hold the keys to becoming one self in all aspects. Brings to mind how damaging all religious activities are and other self-suppressing things. Very de-empowering. On the other hand, it shows the power of satanism.

Remind me that if I ever become powerful enough to build one, I will construct a pyramid out of black granite as a symbolic reminder hehe...
