35 years, you'd think my feet would be sore or more brain cells dead. Enough left to still think fast. It's clichι but it's not the destination, it's the journey, right? Actually my motto is "Everything is real" and I believe that. (Buddhist Mind I guess).

I've traveled every path since the age of 14 (or very nearly) with some success (some failures), but I always love the new. I'm like the proverbial Fool in the Tarot, always dangling on the edge of the cliff, never making it past that point, but laughing all the same! I'm a veteran of a lot of "Occult" forums, all under the name Mezu, so I probably have met many of you. I always a point of view but I'm never that controversial.

Current tripping takes me east to India, Nepal and Tibet (not literally, in my head) -- and I lean Chaotic, but mostly because I find everything works so why not? And I'm pretty much empty hand (not entirely empty headed.) Creativity is what I'm all about, so Chaos suits. I also write about my journeys, but in Fiction. All of my novels have angered a few (my first was too bloody, my second was too funny... ah, but my third!... reviewers love it in spite of tarot-themes and magick threads.). The Last Troubadour has only been on the shelves a couple weeks and it's sold old the first run, so my Chaos "empty hand" must work! Hey, tomorrow I'm doing a podcast on tarotconnections.com by the way... doing a reading (I'm a terrible reader, but I'll try).

I've heard a lot about Abrahadabra. My biggest areas of contribution -- besides loud opinions on some subjects -- are Tantric, Tibetan Magick including Tulpa work, Chaos including very successful Servitor work, and, of course, Tarot, my old love.

Hi!

Welcome Mezu... :)

Congrats on your (latest) book;
what an accomplishment...!

Your site has a nice feel and
that's a finelooking Tarot deck...

MythMath

I used to use the motto:
"Everything Is",
but then I shortened it... :p

Hey there, and welcome to the forums. Your novel sounds great. I am also a Tarot enthusiast, and have been working on my own for a few years. When I was a young one I had the fortune of playing this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Fool's_Errand) computer game, and I think that somehow it 'touched' me henceforth... This is a bit of an inventors nest here, I think you will find, so if you like novely, I suspect that you will enjoy your stay. Cheers;

Thank you for welcomes MythMath and Anibis ... Anibis, inventors nest is about right after a night of checking out posts! I'm loving it. MythMath, a bit of a pythagorean? I love the alchemy of this place. Best,

greetings Mezu...thank you for the great intro!

It's good to have another tantric mage on board...there's a lot of work ahead as I am sure you are aware...such a violent gap in the western consciousness as regarding tantric parameters of all kinds...

This is a potent little group here thus far...it's one of the reasons we have gone to manual submissions. I appreciate your patience with standing in line to get in. I think it will be worth your trouble.

Thanks for welcomes!

I must follow the trends (hate TV, can't get enough Internet, love books). I just posted this data on the Publishers Marketplace from Persona Corp... you might find this fun (based on this, Abrahadabra could sell ads!):

Model — Online by invitation, randomized email invitation, sample size 10,800

Accuracy — plus or minus 0.2%, 9 times out of 10
Some High Level Findings

* BOOKS (http://www.lasttroubadour.com/) — 30.6% "Can't live without books" — 23.4% "LOVE books" — 20.9% "Read regularly" totalling 74.9%
* TV — Only 18.4% "Can't live without TV" — 29% "LOVE TV" — 30.5% "Watch regularly totalling 77.9% but somewhat "less enthusiastic" than the book lovers
* INTERNET — 36.4% "Can't live without internet" — 23.7% "LOVE Internet surfing" — 22.5% "regularly Internet surf" totalling 82.6%

Good news for Publishers (http://www.kunati.com/troubadour), and for Internet advertisers. It would seem that the Internet is the best way to get the word out on books (perhaps TV programers should advertise on the Internet as well!)

Looking only at the "Can't live without it" ratings:

* 36.4% for Internet (http://www.wisetarot.com/)
* 30.6% for Books
* 18.4% for TV

Reality Television is not as popular as pundits would have us believe, with only 13.8% responding "Can't live without it."
Popular Online Destinations

* Amazon.com — 16.3% go often, 13.4% regularly, 44.4% sometimes — again supporting the popularity of books
* Ebay scores similarly with 18.9% often, 13.5% regularly and 44.8% sometimes
* Facebook scored lower than expected at 4.5% often, 2.7% regularly and 14.3% sometimes
* Myspace scored better at 12.3% often, 7.5% regularly, 28.1% sometimes
* YouTube held on at 8.9% often, 10.8% regularly, 41.4% sometimes
* Google scored highest, of course, at 39.6% often, 17.8% regularly and 34.5% sometimes

Watch for more on this landmark study in future posts or at Persona Corp's Persona Think Tank Page (http://www.personaco.com/).

That particular combination of numbers and letters
gave me a strange, uneasy feeling for some reason...

But I'll keep reading along to try to get what you're saying here...

Is it some ancient encrypted text, or what...? :confused: :laugh:

In the meantime, I'd love to hear some tales of Tibetan Magic...:yes:

Please start a thread, if you're so inclined...

Thanks...

I'm afraid I don't have your mathematical mind. If there's encrypted text, it's driven by 10,000 minds responding to the survey.:D

I'm always happy to hear about the triumph of book over TV!

I'm off to create a Tibetan thread!
