I'd like some input as far as what symbolism you folks would attribute to these pieces of jewelry. The beehive itself may be Masonic symbolism, but added to it are 3 stones encircling it like a triangle, and the heart-shaped entry. I find the two-sided pendant interesting as well.

I think they are too small Sibylle...and too blurred out. I really can't make them out on my computer. I know the beehive is the state symbol for Utah, so then the Mormons, which means it probably derives from Masonry... the other symbols I just can't see well enough to know what they are.

Thanks, I didn't know about the Utah connection. Sorry I can't take better pics, as I've only got a cell phone camera.

I'm experimenting with both to see what kind of results I get and what effects the symbols bring on. I had mixed results with the smaller one, a bit of negativity along with success, and I think I will be testing the beehive today. It was originally a charm on a big fat link bracelet, but I had a bail put on it for use as a pendant.

Look at the U.S. quarter dollar for Utah.

I guess it's all in what you get used to, MM ;) Thanks for the input, Nalyd.

Here's a re-post from a recent thread:

Scroll down a bit for the beehive stuff...

Remarkably similar image to the one on the quarter...

Hannahanna (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hannahanna) [a Hittite (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hittites) Goddess] had a servant that was a Bee, which she sent out to find the god that had disappeared.

This God was Telepinu (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telepinu) who was the Hittite God of agriculture controlling the fertility of the plants and animals. One day he was in such a haste that he put his boots on the wrong feet and vanished. All life on earth began to die.

When Hannahanna sent the Bee on the mission to find Telepinu the God Teshub (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teshub) [the God of tempest] protested saying that the gods great and small have sought him but have not found him...

The Bee searched the world and found Telepinu sleeping in a field. The Bee stung the god and smeared him with honey, as instructed by Hannahanna.

Telepinu became enraged and embarked on a rampage killing humans and animals.

Honey, it was believed, had the power to expel evil spirits!
