hmmm...now why does that image strike me as a flag image? I can just very clearly see that puppy flapping in the breeze over some embassy somewhere...

My little 5 year old is exploding into the world
of letter shapes and what they mean...

I'll pick up one of a countless number of pages with drawings
of people, pets, landscapes, architectural renderings and letters, stars,
hearts and names (her own plus "mom" and "bob") and more letters...

When I ask about the content, she'll jump around the page,
pointing to the letter that is (usually) the initial letter of the 'word'
it represents in her story that is described and documented by the drawing...


Cool...that's enough to inspire me... :yes:
