I've been observing a graphic design element that
has appeared in a few recent projects occurring,
suprisingly, each time from a different source operation:

Anyone have any anecdotes or musings on why this engaging
Pythagorean Twist might be significant to our work here...?

The reduction ratio is obviously critical to the synchromeshing...

One of the most obvious characteristics of this
composite grid is its resemblance to the FoL...

The twist & reduction operation essentially
sets up a new gridwork that allows
aligning and positioning elements
'between the cracks' of the original hex grid...

It is also seems related to the mechanism that links the two interdependent
centers of gravity (spheres of levity?) of the Abra Grid and the
TotD/TwinStar in images like this one of m1thr0s':
