Hmm...so what's this all about?

Does it surround you with wealth energy?

The Year of the Rat...

ohhh...

Well I think it will be a good year.

If not, us monkeys can always hack the system anyways....

I really like the neon lighting effect, red, gold, black and white, reminds me of my favorite character in the nutcracker....The Rat King...

The Saturn vs. Jupiter thing is quite an astute observance. Saturn's definately going to win though....it has a whole army of rocks and asteroids....

oh no...not mad...I have the spookiest reserve mechanism you've ever seen...if it's garbage...I simply withdraw.

No time to waste on busy-works...

But this stuff is all exploring something...outer fringes of mechanical apparatus in some cases...some of it clearly links to electromagnetics...sine wave patterns and so on...so it's interesting to watch. Can't say I get all of it but that's ok...kind of like a mystery novel unfolding in chapters...

I like mysteries...most occulty types do I think...

Electromagnetics? Too funny. MM?

I like this one it has a strong effect- a battle plan- a chess board: a strategical layout. Some of your stuff is real good, MM! I esp like the golden symbols (champagne-and wine- glasses, hour glasses, fish, suns and kings etc); did you ascribe sepcial meaning to them? (where are they from?)

K,

Thanks...all of 'my good stuff' is a merely an
attempt to assimilate m1thr0s' (etal) stuff...

Alot of those can be created by shifting bits of the twinstar over itself...

I don't know if that's where they came from but I noticed it today in Photoshop.

Thanks MM, much obliged. So they are m1's then...? I must say they speak more to me than the trad. ones fr. Novum pointed me to end of last year (though theyre also good). I wonder how he came up with the shapes: for some reason I think of no. 1 as "double king" (since it has a resemblance yet one line more than the Chinese character for king 王...also jewel as a component 玉 (e.g. 真珠= pearl, the left part of second chara)) and the no. 16 as double sun (though it looks like eye: 目) intuitively has the connotation of sun 日"squared" to me...but it would be cool to have some "logical explanations" or a way that led up to them too, its maybe somewhere in those links...I have to study up on this, for some reason I didnt look at that sigil thread (only once in the middle commenting on some minor point). I even already have "names" for all of those (fish, spear, glass: all in up and inverted modes) based on their shapes. Your designs are very motivating for studying these things, MM.

Its much better, indeed to use images first in this respect: even in order to learn trad. systems, like in my case here: first one looks at some image- gets confronted with it directly, then something, happens and then after a time one becomes interested in the components: where are they from etc...and can study up on various texts that one can then consider as commentaries made by others "on an equal level to oneself"- since they could explain or clarify ones experiences with the images yet not necessarily in every point; sometimes one can disagree with e.g. the interpretations made by the GD, yet as a student you are much freer than someone who is being told to learn this and that text first and then "we" maybe can talk about the experiences one ought to have (had)...

Sorry folks but as much as I love Saturnian stuff- Justice simply IS Juppiterian per definition...its like calling apples oranges...Saturnian justice is also only that...I dont mean to be difficult we can swap paradigms or whatever but if one cares to buy into the planetary one then there are certain consequences to follow thats all.

Kuroyagi,

I'm not comprehending this,
would you clarify it for for...?

m1thr0s

Saturnian Justice is more akin to Karma since Saturn's relationship to Time is well established. We also have a certain severity associated to Saturn in its *Father* aspect that would tend to reinforce the idea of *payback* to some extent...but this is a justice born of our own actions through cause & effect itself. Jupiterian justice is more like what we would ordinarily think of as Justice as a standard of Law and social organization. Maat is said to reside in Jupiter on the Tree of Life and so we certainly do have this notion of justice via her archetype as well. I would agree with K's assertion from my own understanding of things...

Thats completely how I would see it, too, m1thr0s. I had actually suspected that you would be of another opinion and wanted to incite you to state it with my last post, but I seem to have been wrong in this instance....

wow. that seriously doesn't suck.

it's quite remarkable MythMath...you're developing this into a full-fledged art form I think...very unique quality in your work and you can't beat the themes with a stick...

I look at other artists stuff all the time...the world's full of good artists...almost all of them better than me for instance...and yet, thematically...they usually get stuck someplace and just sort of wind up plagiarizing themselves over and over again...

you're on a wholly different track here and I don't think you're gonna run outta steam anytime soon...

very nice piece...I'd like to see this one really BIG someplace...

Hey thanks, m1...

I'm learning a lot revisiting
and retooling these themes...

I'm arranging another gig to
augment the re$ource flow,
like so many other folks these days...

And I want the new one to balance
and complement the others...

that is a great sigil. really gets the flashing color concept down to rev up the engines. it really feels and looks like a bottle rocket just waiting for a target to explode over...

Jupter or Saturn? From a classical Celtic (ie Gaulish) point of view the answer would be 'none of the above', unless Jupiter and Dis Pater are one and the same, which is also a possibility.

Having said that the whole Jupiter vs Saturn thing (or Zeus vs Kronos) is evidently an example of the Summer God vs the Winter God, which effectively makes the two characters dual aspects of the same entity.
