In approaching the Sephiroth from a Draconian (i.e. Sammael as the Serpent) perspective, we find that Da'ath is not the abyss of self-annihiliation (as we find within Thelemic writings). Instead, it is a place of generation. Intense meditation on the Sephirah of Da'ath from the Draconian perspective awakens one to the presence of Lillith, the Dark Mother.

My recommendation for the creation of such awareness is that one find a simple meditation to liberate the ba, ka, and khaibit from the khat. Generally speaking, it helps to picture the ba and ka as one finds in Egyptian works: the ba as a human-headed bird and the ka as a holographic image of one's own body. The khaibit, or shadow, should be whatever you find best represents your bestial self. In my case, it is the Abyssinian wolf. Allow the three images to blend together until you have a solid image of your akh, shining and radiant in deific potential. Your akh should then initiate whatever ritual you find best aligns you with Lillith as the whore goddess (be it Babalon, Lupa, or what-have-you).

Upon completion of the ritual, allow yourself a moment of quiescence, in which you allow Lillith to manifest to you.

The result of my ritual, the last time I engaged it was to have Lillith come to me in traditional manner: long, curly black hair, skin without blemish, and sexually irresistable. She then proceeded to nurse me on her menses. The waking world result of the ritual was an enhanced awareness of my own body as the perfect animal. I have learned things about myself which I would have preferred to ignore. However, having learned and embraced them, I find myself liberated from certain taboos, which is a step towards acting as a truly independent entity.

Thanks for this Doc...this confirms with my own experience as well. I have actually not been able to identify any so-called "abyss", though I can imagine that it might exist as a kind of recoil reaction at such magnitudes as Daath. But this is the Seat of Knowledge in itself...more akin to the greatest library in the universe than some sort of cosmic garbage disposal we have been led to believe...

As the 22nd is a lunar eclipse, I will mediate on Da'ath as the eye of Azal'ucel. This is both borrowing from Michael Ford's Luciferian Witchcraft as well as playing upon Egyptian mythology (lunar eclipses represent the victory of Set over Horus, in that the moon was the symbol of Horus' eye, and the lunar cycle symbolic of the struggle between Set and Horus). Results will be posted.

I talked to Lilith in the first vision with her as some kind of hot lesbian literally inside an inferno then she scared me because she said 'YESSSS COME TO MEEEE" and shot me with her voodoo rays (I don't like going down on girls even if it seems like a great idea) so I slashed the connection. Then I saw her again last year but it wasn't really much of a big deal. I had a much more intense dream with Satan in it two years before this occurred and that was a more convincing promotional advertisement for Satanism.

as for Da'ath, now, I don't know - my experience is totally different there because of my perspective I feel alot more like a pinball held in stasis there, that might be akin to the...

Oh I know...I'd be like "the egg" whereas the god etc would be like "the sperm"

It's great to talk to some Satanists Doc I hope you stick around.

Abyssinian wolves are cool, I like the Hokkaido wolf as well, I grew up with loads of wolves all the time of course so I am very familiar with their energy and style of interaction, unfortunately, most humans are not...

This is very exciting and a great synchronicity that you've come back to us right now Doc. We've beeh having some very interesting discussions about Daath, and the metaphors we've been given regarding it, and how they don't really seem up to the task of describing this loci.

see this thread

and my dialectical journal draft.

Good thread Doc.

Through my own extensive research, magickal "questing" and, most importantly, dreamworkings (that sub-circuit symbiosis I've spoken of at times) I've come to the semi-conclusion that Da'ath is what some of us call the Necronomicon or as m1thr0s put it "the greatest library in the universe". It is that "akashic record" that Theosophists were always on about but didn't seem to know what they were really on about. From below, Da'ath appears as a baffling code that holds all experience together in a linear illusion.

I agree completely with your assessment m1thr0s. I personally don't find anything abyssmal about Da'ath experiences either but I can see how it's glamours can potentially be an abyss for magickians not prepared for such a plunge. It's a matter of how one approaches it. My own initial approach was very much a nonchalant stumble. I think subconciously I knew what I was doing because there was very much a synchronous pattern I followed once I was under way. Originally it was just a feeling of "I need to do something" but not really knowing what it was I needed at the time. When it hit me what I was doing a lot of other things began becoming very clear. You could say that the world appears differently through the prism of Da'ath from within as well as from above.;)

Of course I could just be mad.:o_O: I'll be sharing more of my own insanity involving this subject soon.

I get the image of the tree of life as a klein bottle with the insertion point at Da'ath and Da'ath also as a device for space-time travel...

(this really is related to Naly'ds post, or it provoked it)

Nalyd:

solid post...glad to see you joining this discussion...

i'm glad to see all of us slowly arriving at the same conclusions about this...and i think this shows how important it is to acknowledge that the old metaphors no longer describe these things accurately, and may in fact even be limiting access.

Update: the weather interfered with performing the ritual I had planned. I will attempt again in Feb (NASA lists a total, lunar eclipse in Feb).
