Here's a good article from MSNBC on getting smarter. Some of these I already know about, such as Omega 3 fatty acids, but there's other good tips, like getting your heart rate up, and playing video games.

It mentions learning a new skill, well that definitely works because every time I have ever been doing a course, my board input wherever I am goes up in quality.

Hmm, I did a re-programming routine while in a deep trance state where my brain generates a list of 10 creative procedures on how to make the brain more efficient and more smart, and then I created an algorithm which improves the algorithm it used from the 10 creative procedures list, and if a procedure from the list didn't work then it would automatically try another one. In this way it should always be evolving towards something better :)

It's only gone about 2 years since I did it so not sure how the results are yet, I'm sure my unconscious brain is very intelligent but the problem seems to be how to bring this new intelligence to a conscious level for use...
