I am going to begin a list of useful Abrahadabra/Abracadabra links found on the Internet and will probably be copying down the more important of these so that if the links get broken, they can be restored. This will be a work-in-progess and anyone who wishes to add to it is free to do so...Expect this to take a little time because the truth is that there is precious little available and almost all significant roads lead back to Abrahadabra.com and my own work. The most comprehensive treatise done by Crowley is probably to be found in 777 under the Section entitled Sepher Sephira -->see #418, and is otherwise scattered about his work in various other places, usually involving very little useful information in point of fact.
Anyone with information older that this should come forward for the benefit of all concerned. I have heard of gnostic documents pertaining to this formula but have seen nothing personally. Also, via the work of Eliphas Levi and others, there may be stuff available under Abracadabra of interest. I will be filtering out anything that is so stylized as to render it essential gibberish for our purposes here but only comment that there are assorted ritual applications scattered about the web if this is of interest to you. It bores me to tears on a personal level as I find Body of Light working much more direct and engaging and I can always convert it to ritual any time I like...Here on this forum my main intent is to outline anatomical and gematric properties of the word itself, of which very little has been done historically.
• Abrahadabra & Liber Al vel Legis (Book of the Law) (http://www.hermetic.com/crowley/engccxx.html) (html)
Bear in mind that Abrahadabra neither begins from this "transmission" nor ends there but certainly classes as a powerful endorsement of its own kind. Forms the basis of Crowley's entire magickal system. See Chapter III...
• Abrahadabra: Some Thoughts on The Word (http://www.triad-publishing.com/stone25c.html) (html)
Mark Stavish's little Abrahadabra treatise has been around forever. It's short but insightful...
• The Supreme Ritual of the Aeon (http://www.frateramadeus.com/media/work/commentary.pdf)(pdf)
frater amadeus's treatise has some references to Abrahadabra of interest. pdf file...
• Sepher Sephiroth (http://www.hermetic.com/crowley/libers/Liber500.pdf) (pdf)
here's the .pdf version of the section from Crowley's 777 cited above. Scroll down until you come to number 418, on pages 43-44 of the original document. This also appears as Liber D (500) in other places and represents the most anatomical breakdown Crowley ever penned of Abrahadabra at any one place or time.
• The Anatomy of the Body of God (http://www.hermetic.com/browe-archive/pdf/anatomy.pdf) (pdf)
Frater Achad's most famous work. I am going to include it here even though he never specifically mentions Abrahadabra even once in the entire book. Nevertheless many of the ideas set forth here will be recognizably apparent in the model I have set forth at Abrahadabra.com.
• The Abraxasixaxis Magic Square: (http://www.crossroads.wild.net.au/msq.htm) (html)
An Abrahadabra/Abrasax revelation of some interest...kind of a shamanic "aha" moment with gematria tossed in the mix... Couple of interesting rituals included. I am including this mainly for the magical square considerations...
• Wikipedia Entry: Abracadabra (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abracadabra) (html)
Just one of dozens of the same sort of definition found all over the place but with some useful links...
• Scroll of Ancient & Forbidden Lore (http://users.lmi.net/arden/en/1/1.scroll.html#ABRAHADABRA) (html)
A completely annoying website with some very useful Abrahadabra information...worth the hassle but be forewarned.
• Liber LVIII: An Essay on Numbers (http://www.hermetic.com/crowley/libers/liber058.pdf) (pdf)
Crowley's general treatise on Qabbalah, including the Sepher Sephiroth-->Abrahadabra analysis. I never met anyone quite as eager as Crowley to plagiarize himself, but there are a few parts of this treatise that are unique.
• Abrahadabra Analysis/Critique (http://www.aumha.org/arcane/ccxx12.htm) (html)
This is just a fairly meaty little analysis / critique of Abrahadabra I ran across that I felt was done as well as it could have been done given the limitations of its source materials...It addresses some of the holes in our understanding and attempts to plug a few of them up. In it's own valiant way, it hyphenates the trouble with conventional analytical approaches.
• Abrahadabra/Abraxas (http://www.experiencefestival.com/abraxas) (html)
Another Abrahadabra=Abraxas page from a variety of sources. The 365 connection ties directly into the 729 Ternary Hexagrams in an unexpected way...the mean of which is 365 and the system is even flexible enough to pick up the remaining ¼ day every 4 years. Hexagrams, of course, can very easily be viewed as analogous to "Archons", ie, time-based archetypal "forces"...
§ ongoing list...
