An idea came to me today about how to control my brain activity better, specifically in regards to controlling some problem behaviors that I've been manifesting lately. By making a list of roles that I want to play and adopting them fully, forcing my brain to act so that I accurately express all behaviors that a person in my role would, and then moving on to another role after several minutes, I could learn to very quickly choose a healthier mentality or pull myself out of a less healthy mentality if needed.

I did several basic roles in a row(horny and social, emotionally detached analytic type with analytic focus on functionality, aggressive and non-stressed highly-masculine type, and happy kind and social type) and had a really great experience. I was surprised how easy it was to float into the brain activity and hit the behaviors perfectly. My only complaint was that I had a headache afterwards but since it was entirely centered on the corpus callosum I'm sure it was nerve or blood vessel growth related.

Try it!

Reminds me sortof of John Fowles' novel 'The Magus'... There's a character who sortof does this, only he has an entire library of biographies that he reads, and draws on for these roles...
