I'll come up with something, but give me a bit. I have a few projects to work on for others first. A question: Color, or B&W? Back of the neck; you'll want something that strengthens the daathian bridge, IMO... This would actually be a very good place to put a hieroglyphic (http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Oracle/8465/monad/1monad.htm) monad, if you were into that sortof thing. An abrahadabra grid, or twinstar symbol would work too. I thought for a long time about what I'd put there, and ended up using the Juggler glyph from my tarot... This position is very good for a symbol that implies/enforces your magickal direction, since it is at the level of the throat from which you utter the words that direct the world around you... Mercurial, harmonizing and meta-magickal symbolism is all at it's most powerful here.
Cheers;

I have plenty of tats all I can suggest is go with a theme and let the artist have free reign if they know what they are doing. you get tattoo artists and you get guys that can trace flash.

Wow that's awesome Deviadah, I almost want that tattoo!
What does it mean? Probably a lot but maybe the gist of it...

Mercury symbol with a subsequent symbol of Sol in the center.
I actually saw this very same tattoo on a girl in the Wallingford district of Seattle, a simple big black shoulder piece it was very striking at the time to me yet - I didn't know what it was, I think I was maybe 14 at the time, I couldn't get the sigil out of my mind, though, I looked it up on Google....no, lol I mean Webcrawler a couple years later and discovered the meaning behind it, it was a planetary symbol for Mercury.
The circle could represent the full Moon or the sun behind mercury, the dot itself could be the planet. Or it could be the philosopher's stone.
If I were to settle for it I would erase the Christian Cross allusions on the lower parts and taper them off, like daggers or some fleur design.
If you want me to throw together a few free Mercury symbol variants Luciferi, don't hesitate to ask.

Well there is the Muslim Crescent on there too... I kind of like that it has both sides represented!
From my understanding, as is Naomi's, the symbol = the philosophers stone!

ah the Muslim crescent is set at an angle though, I recall that being important...that crescent is actually the priestess's if I recall correctly. Crescents in general also represent Saturn, Time, Death and the Reaper
The flared style is reminiscent of the Christian Crusader's cross, which is an equilateral cross you see on the logo for Orange County Choppers etc? I don't like it so I would have it modified, I don't actually really care though because I'm not getting it done....

yeah its got the classic "pagan" symbol for the moon...also in the center is the symbol for the sun..the alchemal symbol for the sun..im liking it even more now that i really know the whole jist of what it is lol...and im pretty sure that the whole thoth/hermes thing can be traced back to Ea? correct? i mean Ea was pretty much the sumerian equivilant imho.

Combining the symbols for
E (earth) and A (air) yields
the classic Alchemical Star...
As above, so below (now with more ea...!):

Or may I suggest the more streamline 19-point Starseed (http://forums.abrahadabra.com/showthread.php?t=2084&highlight=point+starseed) ...
http://s133.photobucket.com/albums/q48/MythMath/th_04Starseed.jpg
Or a 13-point Hypercube:

Or the elegant Tetractys:

Crop circles frequently confirm many of
'our' finest symbols and glyphs...
But I don't think I've ever seen one that has introduced
an image that's startlingly unique or unprecedented...
You know, something out of this world...
