I cant remember if I posted this before. Sorry if I did. What I am trying to do is plot the life of a normal human being on a tree of life diagram and then use that to use as an analogy to plot the spiritual life. As above so below.

I've tried this many times starting at Malkuth and working my way upwards but it never worked. This time I am working my way down. Problem is I dont have any kids and dont know much about them. So the intellectuall triad is mind stuff right. 2-3 is the walk/talk/feed yourself stage right? Then what is particular about the 4-5 stage. 6-7 is considered the age of reason.

LIke the age of 7 is considered the age of reason I have heard that the age of 13 is considered the age of morality. But thats pretty much all I got.

How is this going to be an analogy? Kether becomes the Re-Birth, Daath becomes the Gnosis experience, and the rest I am trying to figure out. Anybody else think they can help?

Hey Darin, I have actually heard of this before but I couldn't tell you where, as it's been so long since I saw the concept laid out on the website. I only remember being told to scry the tree to find out "where" on the tree my spiritual journey was centered, and so I did.

In raising kids I have discovered there's no real rhyme or reason to their growth, they're not exactly computers, they're more like little flowers, they just pop up when they're ready, I guess you can't really expect them to follow any set growth pattern.....some of it is erroneous too, for instance "the terrible twos" was often caused by lead poisoning and that's where the term originated I hear. It's actually at three when the real battle begins, for me at least....

I would definately put them in Geburah or maybe even Golohab until they were 4.

"Golohab (Hebrew GVLHB, "Burners") in Kabbalistic (http://www.themystica.com/mystica/articles/k/kabbalah.html) tradition are the Qlippoth (http://www.themystica.com/mystica/articles/q/qlippoth.html) or demonic powers associated with Geburah (http://www.themystica.com/mystica/articles/g/geburah.html), the fifth Sephirah (http://www.themystica.com/mystica/articles/s/sephirah%20.html)of the Tree of Life. They are called Zaphiel. Their traditional form is that of enormous hideous heads with open mouths, like volcanoes belching smoke and flames"

yep, babies and toddlers...only half the time though, the rest of the time ie when they are asleep they are perfect angels...with a streak of Hermes fortunately
