As a rule all aesthetics must be balanced in form by logic. Thus we have this part II of my work.

Very Brief Forward To My Readers

Let me start out by stating,* quite bluntly I might add,* that all which you think you know is false.*.. well, sort of. Rather, all perceptions are relative to the inherent comprehension of the viewer.* For example,* if I were to see apples as being blue in color, since birth, then to me this would be the 'undeniable' truth.* "Seeing is believing.*" But observing how it is established that apples are either red,* yellow,* or green,* this perception would only be 'true' in relation to my understanding of the world.* I would not be false in specifying that apples are blue,* but neither would anyone else be incorrect in asserting that they are not blue.* What we consider the truth is as malleable as the material from which it is made, ie. our thoughts.* There is only one* 'true*' Truth and it is the task of every individuated human being to find their own.

Age is merely an instrument by which people can ridicule themselves. Almost an excuse some might say, in itself it is meaningless. Therefore do not let your curiosities be trammeled by an inferior quality such as my age. A world where "God" does not mean "God"...

The 'Random Theories' section is just that; a selection of "theories" in the strongest sense of that word. Just thoughts that I had at the time, not necessarily my beliefs. What else would you expect from someone who's inspirations include: John Lennon, Aleister Crowley, Layne Staley, Edgar Allen Poe, Paul McCartney, Jim Morrison, C.G. Jung (to a lesser extent) and Kurt Cobain?

I am a writer. A writer should write to share that gift with the world, not toward their own selfish ends. In this way the pen is mightier than the sword, vastly so.

"The child is, in one sense, the best example of the perfect man or woman, and if the child were allowed to develop Intelligence unhampered by false notions from outside, it would grow to be the true example of the God-Man or Man-God in the majority of cases. We have ruined our children before they have had a chance to come to maturity; our well-meaning, though ignorant, parents and childhood teachers have instilled into our subconscious minds most of the 'complexes' which in life we can only eradicate by bitter toil and bloody sweat." - Frater Achad, "The Anatomy of the Body of God"

"Above, the gemmed azure is
The naked splendour of Nuit;
She bends in ecstasy to kiss
The secret ardours of Hadit.
The winged globe, the starry blue,
Are mine, O Ankh-af-na-khonsu!"

ON ONTOLOGY AND THE QABALAH

2-14-08

It must be understood that even the term "unmanifest" does not adequately display the totality of what it suggests. It is a merely a symbolic 'correspondence' meant to usher the mind toward an idea, not the actual concept: "unmanifest". Our minds are simply unable to comprehend a matter so far removed from our everyday human existence. It is like looking at the sun with the naked eye. With glasses you are able to do so somewhat. Without glasses, however, you are blinded, ie. you are unable to continue building further sensory input. You know that the sun is bright and that is all, this knowledge comes solely from the sense of sight. Bright is not the nature of the sun, it is an idea that visually represents the sun to us. The glasses, like symbolism, allow us to garner a few more associations but ultimately fail to convey the supernal effluence of that heavenly body.

A good method for internalizing a symbolized concept is to experience the force directly, at an intuitive level, in relation to a phenomenon originating from the self. This can be achieved through an avid use of both meditation on the symbols involved and introspection of the psyche with the fruits of the meditation fresh in the basket of the mind. Intersperse periods of subconscious metabolization and you will get much in return.

God is all that is and will be and from whence all of that came. Kether draws down God into that which is not God. But in this way God is omnipresent even in what God is not. The only difference is that that which is drawing focus is confined into a set boundary whereas the rest of God is unrestricted. No, wait... Rather what is drawn down through the source is the labor of God and is derived from His essence, but it is ultimately not God as He is as the Ain Soph. The focus (our cosmos) is composed of God but is separate. The manifested universe is God's message, so to speak. "Eheieh." To talk is to make your intentions known. What God says comprises the Ten Emanations of the Tree of Life.

Kether is the source through which the eternal makes contact with our universe. Beginning is an intent to make something known or tangible. If something begins than it is perceivable (by some means, physical or otherwise - even theoretically). Perhaps not easily, needing symbolism, but in some way it is comprehensible, even if as a mere concept. Kether is the predecessor of all that we can know. From whence Kether sprang is infinite and unknowable.

Chokmah is the concepts and ideas gravitating around a seemingly recognizable, yet undefinable, thought. There is no means for a concrete definition of this thought and this results in these ideas and concepts continuing to orbit around the vicinity of the thought awaiting a concise form (a definition). This "brainstorm", as it were, continues to accrue mass and velocity until a solution is rendered (ie. Chokmah overflows into Binah, form, answer/definition).

God is infinite. Infinity is the sum of all that will ever be. "All that will ever be" is not meant to describe a classification that is in opposition against, for example, "all that ever was." It means verbatim exactly what it says. This would include all other concepts of reality up to and including itself. Yet our universe is an evolving replication of the aspiration of God. How can something that is still finite co-exist with something that is permeably infinite? Infinity includes the finite. The finite is so minuscule to the infinite that it isn't really worth as much consideration as we give it. See Crowley's "Berashith", the section on the mathematical insignificance of matter (Maya) for a good interpretation.

It also must be taken into consideration that that which is infinite is also unmanifest. Manifestation is a partition and wholly against the infinite. It is like one day in the life of a never ending soul, to put it poetically. Infinity transcends time and space which are the cornerstones of our corporeal existence. The key word is that it "transcends". It is beyond and at the root of human existence.

I am not being dogmatic either. It is merely easier to use such terms and the connotations they've come to accumulate.

To further explain infinity and the unmanifest I will give another point of view in the form of an example. I have said that infinity transcends time and space, and it does, but for this argument I must diminish infinity to something that it is not in order to convey what I mean. I will hypothetically give infinity calculable dimensions. Lets say at 'Time A' that the boundaries of infinity happen to be one and ten. Our manifested universe is represented by the number five, the center, for convenience. Now, infinity continues its growing trend. The boundaries that are now signified at 'Time B' become negative ten (-10) and twenty (20). Matter remains static at five. It is easily apparent how infinity can continue to grow in this manner while our manifested universe remains the same from our perspective.

Lets now proceed to take away again the variables of time and space from the equation. Infinity is, was, will be, etc., simultaneously. Our universe is a particular aggregate of possibilities that is by default the object of our awareness. From our ordinary perspective reality does not change because it is merely comprised of that which we guess and that which we know. To us, unmanifestation is just a background against which our experiences can be displayed.

When looking at a sphere it is only the circumference, its farthest reaching dimension, that is seen. The center is hidden but exists and is the omnipresent point by which the circumference is known. Think deeply on this. In all things it is the experience of them that is remembered. The viewpoint from which the experience is known is subjective and thus forgotten.

Dualities are relative observations made by man which manifest into definite, intransigent distinctions that consist of both a known factor/idea and a perceived opposite. It takes a determined effort on the part of the observer (eg. projection of moral belief) in order to maintain a duality's opposition, thus the relativity factor. Through the act of sublimation dualities can be brought together into a unified concept.

Polarities are differentiated expressions/outputs of the same experience in which one side can resolve into the other (and vice-versa), under the proper circumstances, and can always, by default, be reconciled in harmony.

Of the four stages of manifestation much has been written by others. Thus my brief sketch on the topic.

Causality occurs at the nexus of wisdom and understanding where the reason transcends itself. Therein lies an implied unity where polarity ceases to exist. The most abstract concept that we humans can grasp before our minds are left utterly in the dark.

Thinking is the collective effort of grouping particular ideas together and conceiving from them a unified thought. Knowledge is the child of this though, but that is another matter that needs not be expounded in this abridged sketch.

ON THE EGO

4-02-04

Inhibition is surely just a device of the ego. It is a programmed set of actions and speech that comes into play when the ego feels awkward or threatened. Pretty much it is the shield of the ego.
Personality is also a device of the ego. A single ego holds more than one personality (usually). Personalities are the vehicles of your emotions (ie. emotions are displayed as feelings of the personality). The ego is always using (wearing) a personality. Separate personalities of a single ego are usually very similar, but the distinction IS detectable. Pretty much personalities are the armor of the ego.
The body is also a device of the ego. It is the tool the ego uses to interact with planar existence. It is the acting aspect of the ego. When inhibition fails to protect the ego then the body potentially can parry the attack. Pretty much the body is the epee of the ego (ie. mostly used as a defense but has the possibility of attacking).
The ego itself is merely a temporary refuge of the divine spark of infinity (aka the soul). For if the ego is the actual person then how can it be killed by certain practices (psychedelics, meditation, shamanism) and yet we continue to go on, even reinstalling the recently deceased ego (ego reincarnation)? Because the ego is just a center of awareness with a self-formulated identity.
Ego death itself can be a traumatic thing to an unprepared individual. Memory during the experience is severely disrupted. Probably resulting from lack of a tangible grip on reality. Short-term memory is virtually non-existent. Emotions during the experience are random and chaotic. Most likely this is due to having no ego to wield the various personalities that the emotions are used to acting through.
The personalities of others during ego death are very indiscernible and are only recognized by memory (which is impaired). There arises periods where you think someone is someone else, and this conclusion is a result of no sensual interface. Disruption of your thought processes by others during ego death is very annoying. This could get you into trouble if you act out against someone who is not who you think.
The mind functions pretty normally during ego death. It can carry on a single thought for an unlimited amount of time, stopping only if interrupted by an outside source. The mind is so occupied with keeping the train on the track that it can usually do only one task at a time. Mathematics and philosophical insight are both made easier without the hindrance of the ego stifling the subconscious. Pretty much without an ego to tie it down to human existence the mind is free to roam.
Hallucinations during ego death are kind of like the comic relief for the experience. They are toys created by the subconscious in an attempt to supplement the feelings of the conscious mind. They can be intense and/or disturbing sometimes but all things must maintain the Balance of Opposites, even hallucinations. The panacea for getting over fear of certain images is to learn to take the bad with the good. It worked for me. The hallucinations almost always coincide with the thought train and give the senses something to grasp on to for understanding what the mind is going through.
Life is more or less a series of games created by the All to gain experience in order to attain Oneness (all things) or go to the afterlife. Heaven and Hell are the same thing. They are just different ways of perceiving the same idea (the afterlife) and are not separated spatially but rather by mindset. Exactly like 'good' and 'bad' trips.

8-23-04

One amazing thing that we as human beings possess is the ability to make a 'comfort zone'. An area in which all of our actions and thoughts are accepted (to ourselves anyway {1}). All people operate within a self-created sphere within which we act as we think we thought. If you go beyond your comfort zone you must then battle with inhibition. Inhibition is the protective custody of the comfort zone. Inhibition must be lowered in order to affect the action of the ego. Compelling the inhibition to flee is easier stated than done.

11-22-07

I've been doing a lot of research on the ego/consciousness as well as a lot of personal introspection and I believe I have come up with a personally updated take on things. I reason that as long as we are human beings trapped in our corporeal bodies we are destined to remain centered in the ego. As the ego we can transcend our awareness to comprehend things beyond the sphere of awareness that our minds are habituated to viewing, but at the end of the day we are still the same 'ol ego, albeit a more informed version of it.

I do still believe the ego can be temporarily displaced and that by doing so we can bask in the oneness of existence and become receptive to the subtle, or not-so-subtle, influences of the divine. But as far as permanently displacing the ego goes it is tantamount to lead to an exercise in futility. The ego is the vessel of the soul just as the bodies, physical and otherwise, are the vessels of the ego. Sublimation of the ego is the goal of spiritual endeavor as I have come to understand it. I think that in my previous posts I was mistaking the ego for hubris. Just a thought.

A SHORT ESSAY ON DRUGS

12-18-07

With drugs, as with all things, there are polarities involved which situate themselves upon the perception of the user. If the flow is good you will receive ecstatic realizations, states, etc.. However, if the flow is bad the proper balance of those polarities involved becomes disoriented amid periods of trapping blindness and destruction of the self. In this confusion the inner integrity of your soul begins to project a flagitious, life-extinguishing perspective that is damaging to both the body and the mind. Self realization is then only achievable by an avid introspection of any layer of the self which is suspected to be subservient to the addiction's cause (that is, if you perceive it as this). Direct or forced application of the will must be utilized in every case to break free from the binding effects of this desire. These are the signs of failure. There is no way to coexist without forfeiting your life in one way or other.

It is important to understand that the ramification of every action that causes a willed change to occur will bring back a reciprocal effect at some level of your being. The course of humanity is shaped by every participating human being. Remember that all things exist without because all things are contained within (and vice versa).

RANDOM THEORIES: "For Your Pain Or Delight" (Chris Cornell)

5-15-07

Suffering begets Sorrow which begets Renewal. The Crucifixion, et. al. Standards of living dictate the inherent value of suffering by categorizing events as pleasant and unpleasant. Sorrow comes from suffering but is not a direct result. The sorrow does not pertain to the sufferer, it is applied only to those who are within range to become affected by the inevitable loss sustained when the will of the suffered fights no more. This sorrow is an incomplete aspect of creation (continuation?).

Renewal is the primary attainment of denounced weakness. To the end of the era will the pessimist always look for resolve. I do not suppose that any respectable scientist worth his grain would be desirous to dig any deeper than this? For now I will heed this call.
Renewal is a bountiful mercy bestowed unto any place that a loss of significance is sustained. The greater the loss, the greater then is the reward. Understanding is best goaded by the irrevocable actions in life. If there is no cure you had better well learn to adapt!
Through sacrifice is the true, divine heritage of Renewal activated. By eschewing the lesser desires you are left in a position of much greater perspective. Weakness will be seen merely as an offspring of failure - which must never be allowed to take root. The enemy has been exposed and can be routed. IAO!
