OK, this is from my "Prose" thread in the Writing section.

"When looking at a sphere it is only the circumference, its farthest reaching dimension, that is seen. The center is hidden but exists and is the omnipresent point by which the circumference is known. Think deeply on this. In all things it is the experience of them that is remembered. The viewpoint from which the experience is known is subjective and thus forgotten."

I was wondering what anyone thought of this. I'm just curious. I will post new ones as understanding permits. Laterzs!

I think it means if you know yourself, as only you can know yourself (holding that point within) then you can more substantially and accurately show others who you truly are and thus they can interface with you properly (provided they themselves know who they are inside.

Greetings -

I mild correction of your wording is needed - even if the essence of what you are describing is good - it is good to have the words play well together...

The circumference of a sphere is its outer edge. When one looks at a sphere one does not only see the edge off it but everything within - the play of light and shadow describing the volume of the form.

So when you say that when one looks at a sphere one sees only the circumference is incorrect.

If you supplemented circle in place of sphere your problem would be solved.

Or if you supplemented surface for circumference it also would be solved.

None the less, errors aside a statement I agree with it as far as it's inherent vagueness permits.

Yo.

Thank you Cove. "Surface" definitely is the superior word to "circumference". To tell you the truth I got this idea after reading chapter two of Liber AL. Go figure...

Naomi, your words sum it up precisely.

It should be said that once your subconscious has absorbed the symbolisms and their meaning it can use these implanted cues as a key or legend and thus you will be able to follow the directions laid out in ceremonial rituals to the proper end result.

"I hope I've helped you see that there's more to this "number thing" than simple addition and subtraction. Numbers are symbols, and in Gematria the symbols speak for themselves."
- Neshamah

And also, as symbols, you can look at other symbols congruent to them and determine various attributes and meanings. Brilliant.
