I stole something from one of the few people who cares for me
All because of a wanton hunger that I had given a home.
They did nothing to me,
Fed me, gave drinks and made merry
And I invaded their trust and stole to feed a demon.
I am the definition of a thief.
Stealing comfort to bloat the body of the beast.
By the disease of a human's excuse
Your fate brings you to a door.
I enter.
Inside of the depths behind the door
My thoughts are screaming, some must hurt more.
Escape!!
Taking a fast ride on a train to the end
At speeds that are known to be well above normal
I may be left with berthmarks from the cabin
Where I sleep before these things become formal.
Now the invasion has captured my word,
My spirit and my life I must aptly defend.
This war against sin is a failure from the start
Unless that failure be treated by Jesus at the heart.
A Dionysian rebirth would be the salve to apply
To the doubt that I make in my misery of why.
Before the Sun set down 'ere long
I had your trust scoped out
As I writhed in a tree of lies.
Some people are sick but some become aligned with their illness.
I still see it, it's still not me.
This foul rebirth of reptilian instinct
Deplores being called anything but "whip".
Burning forever, I'm always burning for you.
Lies let down words and stealing lets down possession
But my fresh new song will be my heartworn confession.
Ahhhh,
The sky is dark now.
Ah now,
So much better dark now.
Under the toil of your daily restraint
I came upon a trove of misguiding paint.
The towering trolls that I painted that night
I confess were not big, I'm not too good with that paint.
A piece of your being goes missing at odds
When someone takes from you without your know.
How would it feel if you never known it?
It doesn't matter, it's been done.
So, this all comes back on me, for me.
I'm the thief. I'm the liar.
I am evil. I embody desire.
And I'm....
Burning forever, I'm always burning for you.
You, yes you. Yes I love you.
I'm always burning forever for you.
All because of a wanton hunger that I had given a home.
They did nothing to me,
