aw that's sweet. I think you should tell people if you love them though, because you could die tomorrow and they'd never know....it feels worse to love someone and never tell them than to tell them you love them and not have that love returned. That's what I always say to my girls...

Of course I don't know if you really mean this or not because some people just write song lyrics and I know you're a guitarist so, you know, I'm just saying...

I don't get the last stanza.

I am totally with you there. Even if you know they don't love you, there may be something good in your love for them. Hold onto the higher intuition and higher understanding, then go for it I say.

There are probably like half a dozen people who would like to hear the words "I love you" from me, for various reasons. Naomi figured it out though, this is just a "commercial" poem, no real meaning to myself. That is pure lyric writing, thank you for the comments, they are much appreciated. *bows out*

It does mean something but it's just not personal, I guess that puts it better. I was listening to "Silly Love Songs" by Wings and just decided to write another one. The lyrics flew out in like 10-12mins. It came from me, but it's not about a particular event as most of my poetry is. Just a lyric.

Paul Mcartney is annoying!!! I like Ringo Starr though...and John Lennon sort of grew on me too.

Ok well I want to paint or do poetry but I have to finish painting one of my bathrooms. :(
