This is a spin-off from The Godkiller... (http://forums.abrahadabra.com/showthread.php?t=2709) thread! Not so sure it should go in this section of the forums, so feel free to move it...

Really m1htr0s post is - at the time of writing this - still only an intro to something larger (I suspect), so I really can't discuss what insights will come since it has not been written yet. But some points popped up in my mind as I was reading The Godkiller... (http://forums.abrahadabra.com/showthread.php?t=2709) thread and this is it:

Magic(k)al Weaponry is a fascinating subject and it brings to mind Nikola Tesla's Death Ray or teleforce (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teleforce). Basically this is its function:

An apparatus for producing manifestations of energy in free air instead of in a high vacuum as in the past...

A mechanism for generating tremendous electrical force...

A means of intensifying and amplifying the force developed by the second mechanism.

A new method for producing a tremendous electrical repelling force. This would be the projector, or gun, of the invention. - source (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikola_Tesla)

It is the concept of producing manifestations of energy in free air that I think borders on magic(k) more than science. And the two could learn a lot from each other.

On another note to curse someone is a magic(k)al weapon and folks without any knowledge of the occult curse people on a daily basis - it is known simply as negative energy! Of course there is a deeper and more complex - and effective - form of directed curses that can be used. But that is not for the novice...

I think it could be healthy to curse oneself, ones own ego, in order to win the battle with the self that - at times - happen to become stuck in a non-changing mode, which in my opinion is not very healthy!

Enough rambles...

Also words are the best weapon we can ever use... so abrahadabra is sure to cause some damage if we want it to!

An immediate response is to the name Godkiller - I see it more as the Challenger; a foundation is laid, an energy or aspect is built, change inevitably occurs and there is a certain amount of destruction, not complete anihilation, but a challenge and the cycle begins again.

It is like a structure of truth, some new truth of the moment emerges but since the system is pure, the dross is cleared away and the truths remain.

m1htr0s post was interesting, I have never thought much about that chapter until now. I havent really read the book thoroughly more than once and that was the first time I read it. So now Im going to go read it and see what manifestations this new perspective might give me :)
This is really something!
