I found this one in Better Homes and Gardens yesterday when I was waiting for my brakes to get done. I read it because my BFF m1thr0s reads it, and it's actually pretty good.
So a really cheap decorating accent is to get a bunch of glass bottles either clear or green and set them around on a shelf or credenza, put water in them and then take fresh cuttings of ferns or cherry blossoms and put them in the water, it looks really great and like I said, it costs almost nothing.
So that was the BH&G idea.
My newest idea is that you take a pretty nice clear glass bottle of any color and put some kind of flowering fruit tree branch in it (wait til the branch blooms because it won't bloom once you cut it) it's important that it's a FRUIT tree like pear or apple or cherry.
Then, after you put it in the water take all of your spare change whenever you get some and put it in the water, picturing your money growing. This will work really good. The mental stimulation will get your body working the way it's supposed to be working - ie in reality creation, everytime you drop money in think about feeding your money tree.
Then when you fill up the whole thing you will actually have a good chunk of change.
You should take it to the bank and put it in a savings account and don't touch it or go buy something like gold with it that you can wear on you.
A little known fact about gypsies and why they wear so much jewelry is because when times get rough they can pawn their rings or something, so they wear their wealth instead of putting it in a bank. You will find the Navajo also do this.
Wearing jewelry also creates wealth because it draws it to you and another trick is prosperity consciousness, ie thinking rich even if you are not at the time, your luck will change soon enough.
Another old trick is putting a bunch of alfalfa in a jar and keeping it in your pantry, that way you will never run out of food.
