Who uses something weird in their magic?
As a Voidian,I occasionally use a glaive, which is a harpoon like sword,it substitutes both wand and daggar in Voidian practice,I also use a fist-sized lump of obsidian in a brass base as a scry ball/focus tool when I'm too lazy to get out the black mirror.

Anyone else use non traditional stuff?just curious.

Hmm. This one night...

box of macaroni noodles for human beings, the whole box represented the entire human race. So like - one noodle equalled a few thousand people? I was moving the populations around...well not me, she was....

A bunch of Littlest Pet Shop Toys, a pink lamb for Christianity, A blue parrot for Garuda. Some tranformers for other gods, a My Little Pony with an apple on its butt for Eris, (scratch and sniff)

My washing machine and dryer...

My wacom tablet pen for a wand...

etc.

I use a wooden stick that I can stick up my ass when doing sexual things. I think it's quite funny :D (Itensifies the sexual energy alot and loosens up the anus, I really recommend it for men)

I'm using my favorite game texture and terrain generator, Tribes 2 on PC.
It's basically a capture the flag game, but once you fly out of bounds, the terrain generator becomes random and you can spot astral figures as it unravels (probably strange attractors again). Just yesterday, I spotted an imp in ground texture, and also a cat I knew that passed away last December. I recognised him because he had 2 eyes different colors and the figure I spotted clearly had 2 patterns for eyes. The cat knew I was a weirdo, always playing him with a LASER pointer, so no wonder he's tracking for me on the other side.
Both imp and cat appeared as pictograms like ... egyptian art sorta. I'm having problems taking screenshots during the game, but once I figure it out, I'll show you what I mean.
I've seen my avatar too one day inside the same myst, being myself with one eye on fire cause I always get the red eye when I smoke weed and play
Tribes 2 for hours lol

Anyway, check the game out, some say it's better than Halo 3...it rocks

Biatch

But there are no splinters since I took a sandpaper and made it all smooth, otherwise it would be too pointy.

I love it when new scrying tools are invented, people really need to take a good hard look at the mental soup we are immersed in and realize everything is talking to us, all at once, constantly...electronics "dumb down" the absolute so our slow brains can assimilate it even more easily and upgrade our equipment instead of resigning ourselves to being routine bots...yeah, SPAWN MORE OVerlordS....HAHAHAHAHHA

I used to meditate in video games too. When I was playing Doom 32x (like a Doom 2 for Sega Genesis) I would stand in front of the evil wall symbols and go into a trance. I hadn't heard of Sat-tanism yet....

The symbol I liked was 30-40 minutes into the game though, no cheat codes...so i had to fight my way through hundreds of demonic hordes just to get to my nice relaxing little spot in the dungeons....I still remember that charming patio area....

The most awsome thing Ive experienced is when I got in some trance like experience playing counter-strike (first person shooter). And the whole game felt like an Astral extension of myself, I couldnt feel my arms or fingers or anything and my counciousness zoned out totally from the material world, so the Screen and anything that happened there where in complete synch with my mind & body. Headshots everywhere I tell you! Like becoming the übergamer no one could possibly kill. It has happened once or twice more perhaps, forgot to say, every time it happened it involved opiates and cannabis. But it was mostly due to the opiates, they can really be dissociating sometimes, playing FPS games on opiates is great, you dont feel your body and your mind is completely clear.
Of course, you have to find the exact right dose, too much, you get the nods and the 'cross-eyed vision', too little and then theres just no activity at all. only mild relaxation perhaps ;)

I think it has to do with tunnel vision in a theta state.my path has a meditation that will do something similar,PM me if you want it. :)

Hey Magus, your new avatar looks insane lol
Are you a World of Warcraft fan? What games are you currently playing?

Concerning the tunnel vision, a 80 year old man once told me that during a prostate probe test, he passed out and saw a tunnel with a light at the opposite. He engaged in the tunnel and what he saw at the end of it was a tree surrounded by green grass. He was amazed by the green color of the grass cause it looked perfect. Then the doctors revived him and he was sucked back into his body on the operation seat.

I thought that he could have seen a tree of life, since he has paranormal habilities such as finding water sources or minerals in the ground.

godamned muladhara chakra again...

I don't know how you got into a conversation with a guy about prostrate probe test visions, but anal sex isn't really a big deal, however, it's much funnier to pretend it is....

I bought my first anal beads when I was 16 1/2 so I know what's up....I don't know if they're a ritual tool though...they could be...

"46.

And the rectum by contracting,

Greetings -

Once while in Kauai (A part of the Hawaiian Islands.) I made a ritual tool.

Just eaten some mushrooms that had been growing in fairy rings in a Church garden down the road.

Was staying on a haunted beach (None of the locals go there.) with a philosopher brother of mine who had a campsite in the palms off the strand.

There is one rather bothersome creature on the island that people warn you about - and that is a huge poisonous centipede.

They were all over the camp crawling over my bare feet and so on. This would not do.

So I carved a stick into the form of a centipede cutting my hand in the process - hence smearing the carving with blood as I went. I carved off a part of the stick and whittled a hole so that I could wear it around my neck.

After finishing I made a statement to the night along the lines of invoking respect for the centipedes just stay out of the camp in general.

I then planted the carved centipede in the center of the site and sat back and barbecued some chicken.

At one point later a huge toad came walking into the fire circle and preceded to bury himself in the sand so that only his eyes showed.

No more centipedes the rest of the night, nor the next day, or next. None at all for a month even - so stated my brother - I was gone by then.

My brother also had an interesting story further to tell concerning the stick I carved - but that must wait for a moment because I have to go off.

Yo.

Often tools made using"instinct majick"are the most powerful,I made a copper and iron wand out of a grounding rod[ask ace hardware LOL] it has powerful lunar attraction and is developing magnetic properties,I use it for healing.Artimus has identified herself with its energies.

Yep -

Instinct Magic? A good description of how I go about allot of things.

Finishing the story:

One day returning from work with his van my brother got a funny vibe from the beach he was staying on - so he slept in the van. He did this three nights in a row because of the vibe.

When he returned to his campsite everything was destroyed - violently so - but still there - nothing stolen.

Only one thing missing from the campsite...

...

I spent a day once weaving cliff's, trees and stones together in a huge pattern with many balls of twine - by the Sea.

When I was done - I took a piece of the twine attached to about the center of the thing - tied it to a piece of driftwood and threw the wood into the sea.

So you had this massive geometric pattern woven around the whole landscape - breathing with the rhythm of the Ocean.

A nice meditative tool...

Nice story.I wonder what your wooden centipede stirred up?
