[Catalytic Subterfuge]

I was performing the 32 degree at our Spring convocation yesterday and noticed an interesting symbol. There was much alegory surrounding the symbol I can't share here but I mentioned to MM and wanted to post for some feedback about it. Comments anyone? This is 1,3,5,7,9. In the ritual, there is also an allseeing eye in the center of the circle.

Gnomons
Gnomon means carpenter's square in Greek. Its the name given to the upright stick on a sundial. For the Pythagoreans, the gnomons were the odd integers, the masculine numbers. Starting with the monad, a square number could be obtained by adding an L-shaped border, called a gnomon.

1 + 3 = 4
1 + 3 + 5 = 9
1 + 3 + 5 + 7 = 16

and so on.probably not the whole mystery or anything, but a clue perhaps...

note: in the kamea of saturn, the numbers 1,3,5,7,9 form the basis of what is usually called a cross of light...
