Dextromethorphan is a synthetic chemical used for covering up, not curing, the symptoms of coughs and colds.

I rue the day that I ever saw this website:
neonjoint.com
[don't go there, I just provided the site as a source]

The first time I ever tried this drug was April 16, 2003e.v. It was my interest in the occult that led me to experimentation with this drug. In the document I read on neonjoint.com it said that taking DXM (dextromethorphan) would:
- promote OBEs
- give conversation with spirits
- grant psychic ability
So, of course I was interested. I was 19 at the time, was an up and coming lush, so what the hell? It's for science.

The first time I took DXM (720mg) I experienced what I can only describe as the greatest feeling in the world. It was like the sky was blue because it was supposed to be and everybody loved everyone and everything was magical. It was like looking through new eyes, I wrote in my journal:
"I have seen what the poets have seen. The Reaper is staring down my back but there is no fear."
Life and death were one and all was one and all was beautiful. I almost was overwhelmed with joy. The euphoria was just wave after wave, it was like I was surfing in golden seas on the sun with the gods. The brightness and the color made me giddy like a little schoolgirl. I was in paradise.

Five years later...

I can take twice what I took the first time and only get a dirty, chemical intoxication. No elative mindset or flowing of creation, it's just a dirty, junkie high.

I guess this is one of those drugs that you can use responsible with great result or sink in. This is the drug that I called 333 before I knew much at all about Crowley, Choronzon, Neuberg, etc...

Some useful effects:
- it can improve listening music
- it can increase sociability
- it can eliminate pain (analgesic)
- it can kill the taste buds (good for drinking alcohol after a dose)

Some not-so-useful effects:
- it can kill you
- it can let you know that it can kill you
- it can consume you

Synergies of DXM:
+ pot: makes the effects more intense, in a good way. A Heroin junkie would trade their last fix if they knew about this combo (if you get it precisely right).

+ alcohol: you become the stereotypical boisterous drunk, no matter your usual drinking habits or demeanor.

+ n2o: Bon-voyage, bring me God's autograph when you get back.

+ naringin: half the dose for the same bang, and it last loonnnggggeeeeer. (remember, "bitter is better")

I should state that I have been off of DXM for two weeks now. That may seem like shit to a lot of people, but to me it seemed like a lifetime... God, I hate that shit.

Has anyone ever come under the spell of alcohol? LOL, what is funny about me:
Last weekend I smoked cigarettes, all weekend, like two an hour. I also used to smoke regularly from age 17 until age 21. But now I can smoke for a weekend, or whatever period, and quit just like that. I know people that say that quitting cigs is more difficult than coke... I, however, play with the nicotine addiction like it is a letter-block in the toy box. It has no effect on me at all anymore. ffs

I just enjoy the placebo reaction of calmness...

PS
I am talking about cigs of nicotine. Nic is an off and on habit with me, mostly off. I smoke maybe 15 cigs in one night, and then afterwards, for an entire month or more, I smoke none.

Umm, an update. It's been 3 weeks since I've touched dissociative anti-tussive medications. I've written 0 songs, 0 essays and 1 poem (terrible). I made the right decision. I'm sure of it. GOD IM PISSED...

Maybe you should watch, like, a movie instead? Perhaps some music and a cup of coffee, an all-night romp in the hay, etc....

(no, I am not volunteering)

Thanks, I dont watch TV, don't drink coffee, and don't get regular sex....

Thanks for the non-offer. Appreciated.

i seriously hate Crowley.

I hate the whole scarlet woman schtick too, who the fuck thought that up? It's totally uncool. I think they could have come up with a better title and functionality.

I seriously LOVE Crowley :D Thanks to him that I got into the whole occult biz anyway..
But sure, he was a seriously twisted dude, just look at his writings (not the "holy books"), he cross sources so savagely its next to impossible to keep up with his crap most of the time..
But Liber AL got me everything I have needed so far.. the first time I read it changed my whole life, it sure struck something deep within. Not One other thing has come as close to the same effect yet.

I checked that out, but I honestly couldn't get past the first minute of it. It reminded me of one of those 'teenager movies'. If there is wisdom therein I'm afraid it has passed over my head. Thanks for the response though.

Hey, that's cool...

Yeah, his productions are a notch or two from top quality...

And I agree with you about the first minute(s)...

The effect here however is a 'cumulative' one, imo...

He establishes these seemingly unconnectible threads, then he
systematically weaves together his 'syncromystic tapestry'...

And, contrary to what I originally thought, he's not
claiming that these links were intentionally designed...

Just that they are there; to be observed and noted...
