I'll describe some of the effects I've obtained off of various pharmaceuticals over the years (prescription and OTC).
Oxycontin & Prescription Opiates/Opiods:
To me OC (oxycontin) is the only one of these really worth doing, if you want to use these drugs. As was stated elsewhere in this forum by me and others, "Stay away from OC!" Percocet are OK, but you need more of them to get decent effects. Fentanyl patches last for three days and are stronger than heroin (I only kept it on for two days - low tolerance to this class of drug made me sick and tired as a mofo). I know a guy who used to put three of the patches on at once, one of them directly over his heart. He's dead now... Roxicet & codeine (even high doses) had a mild percocet-like effect, nothing special. Vicoden and Darvocet, at least the ones I had, look like Good n' Plenty candy. They have the same effect as the candy too. There are more ops., but that's the extent of my experiences.
Cyclobenzaprine:
A muscle relaxant. Besides tiredness and a slight euphoria there is nothing too good about these pills. If you take 10mg and smoke weed with it, well, it still sucks. You just get really tired and unless you like to torture yourself you go to sleep.
Wellbutrin/Zyban (bupropion HCl):
An anti-depressant and nicotine quitting aid. DO NOT TAKE WITH A MAOI!! Taking it orally by itself it produces a very mild altered state. Good for playing Super Mario Kart and such. If insufflated it gives more of a stimulant buzz. My friends and I gave it the nickname of "Kiddie Coke". Burns like a bitch though. It has a synergy with DXM that makes the dex trip both more intense and last longer. Not good though like DXM and GfJ, it's definitely chemy.
Trazodone:
Sleep aid and anti-depressant. Good as a sleep aid. It's psychoactive effects are pretty subtle. Mild memory disturbances and calm mind. I used it once for skrying and it helped me a bit, a very small dose was used though. I'd stick with it for the sleep.
Xanax:
Anti-anxiety medication. If taken alone it is an alright buzz. Mix it with alcohol and you are pretty much playing Russian roulette. It definitely intensifies the alcohol buzz. You become talkative, more open to people, prone to blackouts and memory loss, and the possibility of OD is much greater. Another one of those 'stay away' drugs. A friend of mine took some before she went to the bar. She woke up on her front porch with her purse gone, a VERY sore ass and no memory of how she got there.
Adderall:
Stimulant. Unless you are a complete n00b to psychoactives you are wasting your time. I've read that it's like coke, but it's not. Your better off railing No-Doz if you're looking for a pick-me-up.
Zoloft:
Anti-depressant. I was put on this as a kid. Within a month of taking it I wanted to jump out of my 2nd story bedroom window. A terrible drug that should not be given to kids. I'm not the only one that has had suicidal thoughts when on this drug so I feel comfortable in saying that this is bad shit.
Dimenhydrinate/Diphenhydramine HCl:
Anti-motion sickness and allergy medication. Dimenhydrinate is found in Dramamine and other anti-nausea medications. Diphenhydramine HCl is commonly in Benadryl and other OTC allergy medications. They are virtually the same drug with the same effects. When marketed as Diphenydramine HCl it is more expensive. The effects can be compared to datura stramonium - to an extent. The 'trip' begins usually within 30mins to an hour. Signs of this are drymouth, mind alteration, trouble swallowing, euphoria and hallucination. Hallucinations at this point primarily consist of seeing 'bugs' out of the corner of your eyes, spiders crawling about and a gelatin-like substance on the walls (mostly on white walls). After this phase you either become extremely tired and uncomfortable or you go to the 'full trip'. The uncomfortable outcome is what happens when you OD on these drugs but don't take enough to trip. Sickness, terribly sore throat, drymouth, etc. All the hallmarks of the anticholinergenics. The 'full trip' is of the deleriant variety meaning you don't remember you are on a drug and you can not tell the difference between hallucination and reality. Have someone who can watch over you, though I would suggest staying away from these medications or using datura for a less-chemy, more powerful experience.
That's all I can think of ATM.
