it's a good cut...love the voice...is that you?

if you even want any critique crapola it's just that this kind of song is kind of screaming to cut loose at some point...you've built up a dynamic creative tension that feels like it really needs to bust the fuck loose but doesn't seem to do it...

everything else is good...feeling is strong...mystical shit...love that stuff.

yeah, i know wat you are saying...im a huge neurosis fan and they are famous for that whole slow mellow build up and then a chaotic explosion of intensity that ebbs and returns to the mellow again... i was thinking exactly the same thing right when i picked up the cd from the guy who produced and mixed it for me...but then again i kinda like how it sort of teases you into thinking its going to explode and it never does...

i dont really get to record or sing in a studio that much..mainly its just tinkering in my home studio with my more spartan and bare bones set up..but then again the whole recording process as far as studio time is very suffocating in the sense that you have a ticking clock to worry about...

you are definately right though mithros...maybe next song i will do that.

yeah well...I've been trying to write a book for 30 fucking years...beginnings and endings are my nemesis...cuz I have no idea what they are...whatever the hell it is it all goes down somewhere in the middle, so that's what I've got...the biggest damn middle in occultism I'll wager...

ah well...practice makes perfect, so they say...

It's like a tent with no spikes, if you know what I mean. Very good musicianship, btw. The intro guitar is haunting, catalystic, endearing.

thanks luke saint...im gonna cut some more musick like this, but unfortunately i had a falling out with the guy who produced the previous song :( so im going to end up working on more shite in my home studio..so any new material wont have the great fidelity that this song has..although myself i like the whole gritty underground sound..

I know Jacob works on a shitty microphone (or so he says) and he has some of the best songs I've ever heard come out of my speakers...so it's no big deal really, I think, if you can play live yknow? Great art shines no matter the medium, I'd rather look at a charcoal sketch by Renoir than a photomanipulated color riot on Deviant Art...

Anyways oh, by the way, I listened to it the other night, and it was cool...I liked your voice it was really laid back and dark and relaxing so I can dig it.

well all i really need is some mixing speakers to do wat i want...i have a good setup for making the kind of musick that i want to make..im gonna cut a whole album of folk musick that combines both elements of tradition roots folk and more psycedelic elements..itll be fun.
