View Full Version : God is a Drug!

The concept that God is nothing but a drug is probably not news to most occultists, or hippies for that matter, but I still find it funny that such massive institutions as Christianity, Judaism and Islam is based on the experiences had during a dose of hallucinogenic drugs.
For instance:
- Shamans, of most cultures, use hallucinogenic substances such as Peyote, Mescaline and Ayahuasca.
- The concept/theory of the Sacred Mushroom and its influence on all the prophets of the Bible - and is allegorical inclusion within the sacred text.
- When Moses finds God in a burning bush he really found God in a bush that burns (if the Hebrew is properly translated). There grows a bush called Datura Stramonium (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Datura_stramonium) in the area where the ancient Hebrews and Edomites flocked and its fruit have hallucinogenic properties that - in fact - cause a burning sensation when consumed. Also used by European witches by the way.
- In physical alchemy the creation of various potions and drugs are common tasks.
- Jesus is often called the anointed one, anointed with cannabis oil that is.
- The Assassin leaders used cannabis as a way of showing God to their assasin soilders. In fact it is from here we get the name hasish.
- The Prophet Mohammed used to frequent caves where he indulged in hallucinogenic substances in order to speak to God, or so certain theories go.
- Cannabis is connected with the Hindu god Shiva who is said to have rested in the shade of the Cannabis plant.
- The Rastafarians believe cannabis is a sacred gift of Jah.
- The Eleusinian Mysteries initiation ceremony saw the use of a possibly entheogenic substance known as kykeon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kykeon).
And there is more, but these are just some from the top of my head!
Kind of puts a new meaning into the title High Priest!

Praise the Datura Stramonium!
Interesting. I've looked at this God-phenomenom from every angle and came to the conclusion that it was really parts of me acting like God. There are though alot of neat things inside the human brain and mind that can be tapped, the best was when I accidentally activated my pineal gland to start producing tryptamines, this made a near physical light that others could see and I was in contact with myself and the universe and the planet and there was no God as I was it.
I'm still looking for techniques on how to activate it and keep it active.

Have you tried alchemy?
;)
From experience I don't think you need any drug to keep the Third Eye beating... all it takes is motivation and imagination! Although that is not as simple as it sounds, and probably why drugs are so popular.
I find it funny that so many religions were fully - or partly - invented because of some ancient trip... and now so many of these religions prohibit the use of drugs.
Human logic!

I don't think Jesus was a pot head.... oil or otherwise. The oil traditionally used by the Jews was olive and not cannabis, btw.

Jesus as a symbol of the mushroom
Jesus is portrayed as the Son of God, sent to fulfil the role of Messiah or 'Anointed One' - literally, 'one smeared with semen'. As a mushroom, the amanita muscaria does not disseminate seeds as plants do, but ejaculates microscopic spores which create a threadlike fungal network at the base of conifer trees from which thunderstorms elicit more mushrooms. Prior to knowledge of spores, lightning was thought to be the source of mushrooms and lightning was considered the fiery progenitive spears of God, hence the phallic fungi were called 'Sons of God'. - source (http://www.iamshaman.com/amanita/jesus.htm)
Of course there is no way to be certain of anything, but it can't be denied that all these prophets and shamans partook in some form of intoxication... if not cannabis then certainly some form of DMT or alcohol.
Jesus might not be a pot head, but he sure liked his wine!

Well, God is a drug. But of an alien variety to me, I'm really not quite familiar. I mean, I lean to my side but have yet to find a god that will turn your head like YHVH....? It all just hits different locales on your brain, but then, that's the search.

Heh, I'm doing alchemy 24/7 on many simultanous levels all the time.
Anyway, there's a common misconception about the pineal gland being the third eye which it really isn't. The pineal gland is actually the crown, or actually I'm not so sure about this but there's a small bump on the head (not the middle bump but in front) which is directly connected to the crown, and this can be activated by concentrating energy on it, and when it activates it starts producing a near physical light that can be seen by other people also and it purifies consciousness immediately from all defects and negative energies. Amphetamine can also be used to get it activated as amphetamine makes the mind concentrate and silent so that one can make the energy ascend to the crown. Haven't yet tried that much with this technique with amphetamine but looking forward to it.

Are you talking about the pituitary gland (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pituitary_gland)? It is a bit yin-yang those two... they got to vibrate in unison!
Some schools of thought place the pineal above the pituitary and some the other way around.

Short-cuts is always a long road!

Blah, that's just bullshit. And besides it isn't a short-cut, it is merely something else as I know how to use substances that change the mind. Not sure if it comes with the shaman job or wtf is up with that
I think that pituitary is actually the 3rd eye as it distributes all the hormones of the body, and through the 3rd eye I have been able to control all the human emotions in the body (well basically I could create any emotion that I wanted to). Logically it would be logical that if the pituitary gland controls the hormones of the body, it could be used to control the emotions of the body. But then again the pineal gland functions quite differently. And the feeling I had at the point of the crown was directly that there was certainly a Tryptamine of somekind affecting that area and it felt like being 5-Meo-DMT which is a strong tryptamine psychedelic. (Rick Strassman says that the pineal gland metabolizes 5-meo-dmt or DMT when one sleeps or dies, but haven't yet read his book and nor his proof of the matter).
That brings to mind to check wikipedia on pituitary gland and pineal gland...

The pituitary gland controls the growth of the human being. The pineal gland has a less concrete standing in the evolution of the human species. The third eye has been called the "pineal door", "pineal gateway", etc., by various occultists. Unfortunately the names of the books, and the authors, that mention this has eluded me. The vain (http://www.answers.com/topic/vain) (def. 1) fruits of longterm photographic memory as it were...
