I found this poem/song in my old journal as I was organizing some of the dated pages.

Jynx 4-07-05

You passed me in the rolling stream, oh.
You saw me weeping for my friend.
Didn't think I'd come around and catch you back again?
Was working down, down so high,
The words were like fire in the sky:
Almost gone. Yeah.

Then when you went away,
I raised my hand up to God
But here below I lay...
I know you'll never fall,
So all I do is wait.
No one ever cries.
The sky is dark today.
The Sun may help you if he may.

Do we have to find a sheltered place here,
Or will this all just fade away?
A severed line doesn't keep you up, it brings you down.
Spun so fast I lost my mind.
Maybe not together we can try to find...
Yeah maybe not. Yeah.
