Hey, did you folks hear about the planet Pluto being demoted? No longer officially considered an actual planet by the international scientific community. *sigh* Another dark lord falls from grace.

yeah, that's strange. looks like they've decided it's an asteroid afterall...
pretty big asteroid though. hope it doesn't get pissed off and attack...lol

haha. ya, I think he's pretty stable in his orbit, but I wonder what the effect on the collective consciousness will be to lessen the status of Pluto. Might compensate elsewhere.

I think this is stupid. For the last ten years they've been trying to convince everyone that there's a tenth planet and now they're trying to tell everyone that there's only eight. I don't think anyone was under the delusion that Pluto was an especially important planet, but it's still a planet.

I agree Danisty. Pluto was also my favorite planet, besides Earth of course, and he was... err... is a cool god, he has underworld essence. I hope to work with him one day, but I don't know.

Isn't it kind of arbitrary what anyone on earth says about the status of any other planet? They're still going to move the way they move, have the same traits, and be exactly the same as they were before the label was changed.

I'm wondering if there is any chance of having myself declared as a planet. Hey, I'm not kidding...I can rotate on my own axis and everything. I don't have any moons yet but that's nothing that a little technology can't fix!

Planet m1thr0s...it's got a ring to it...hehe...

I really like Pluto. In the microcosm of an individual, he would be their Shadow. The one who rules over the "underworld", the unconscious mind. He governs the function of repression, keeping the unresolved traumas and complexes out of the light of the conscious mind. Essentially keeps us sane. Pluto would also be the gateway to enlightenment. As an initiate, you need to be able to induce him to allow a few denizens of the underworld to escape as you are able to deal with them (resolve and integrate them into consciousness) and eventually you should be able to take over his functions yourself and fling wide the gates of hell.

So I have a question: What makes a planet "important" or not?

Wonder what weird creatures you have living on you. Be sure to wipe-them out on a regular basis to keep the whole evolutionary process interesting..
