Here are some songs I've made.. a little on the darker side, to suit the low production quality that was all I could afford.. pretty out of the ordinary, from experience giving people a listen you need to be rather awake to appreciate it.. just click on the link, it's streaming audio.. and headphones are recommended at least for the first listens..

Pretty cool...

Great textures...

I'd like to hear hi-fi versions...

If you ever find yourself in Northern Indiana, I'd be willing to
donate a few hours of studio time to make some recordings... ;)

Do you 'compose' these, or are they spontaneous...?

Thanks for the offer. I could really use better production, but for the next batch of songs I think. For these I am pretty convinced that the present production quality is perfect, believe it or not.

The songs are not composed, although I always have a theme, be it an emotion, or an general emotional vector, or a conceptual vector, or just a musical vector.. sometimes I have some kind of sentiment in mind, other times I splash the paint on and see what I can do with it.. it really teaches you a lot about yourself!.. anyways I tend to see musical harmony and melody geometrically.. I have no idea how to write music nor do I excel in math, which is why I chose to work only with my voice.. my next batch will be even a great deal better, but first I need some money.. the most important thing though for me about the music is that it's *real*, that is to say, it expresses wise and fundamental sentiment, however playful or creative.. alas since Truth is so uncanny to the modern marketplace of ideas, most people can't tell the difference, but I believe it connects at least on a subconscious level for many folks.. some people get really freaked out when they put on the headphones, but I suppose it would be the same with me and mainstream hip-hop.. glad you liked it, feel free to use it or whatnot...

Yeah, I think that the 'voice-only' approach can be complete indeed...

The human voice is quite capable of being the 'ultimate instrument'...

Especially when different timbres are layered together...

When I heard your clips, I thought that they had potential
as textural backgrounds for video/film productions...

__________

And I'm no hi-fi purist, I did appreciate the effect of
some of the distorted elements of your recordings... ;)

Thanks for the feedback.. I'm trying to get an idea of how people relate to the music.. for instance, this doesn't work so good on GarageBand.com :D I used some effects like chorus and reverb, I forgot to mention it but I assume you could tell.. personally I am looking to get signed on with some kind of spiritual or occult production company, the the problem is that most of that area is full of techno and miles apart.. I still don't know how they can find techno so spiritual.. it's just like when my friend said he meditates to techno, sure.. I guess thoughtless statements go with the rave scene ...
