Where were you when in 1963 when news broadcast Kennedy shot dead?

I was nine and in the kitchen and we heard it over the radio. I still remember looking at the yellow ktchenette cuboard with the radio on it. ( some of you would have probably still 'little swimmers'.

Where were you when Neil Armstrong allegedly walked on the moon in 1969?

I was 15 and sitting in a high school science room watching it live on TV.

Where were you when the news broadcast that John Lennon shot dead in1980?

I was sitting on a beach in Bali when a girl came past crying that she had just heard John Lennon had been murdered.

Where were you when the WTC Towers came down in 2001?

I luckily went to bed and didn't know anything until the next morning (some friends watched it unfold on TV that night). I turned on the TV in OZ next morning and every station was broadcasting the events and playing it over and over.
