Life Path Number via your Birthday...wow

So wiz gave me another exercise to help me find my way.
Wow it works.


Like take your birthday to work a life path number and punch it into a calculator and divide by 9 the first number after the decimal place is the reduced number, except when it's zero in which case it's a 9. eg 23/05/2008 would add to 20 or 2 in a calculator 23,052,008/9 = ....4.222 any string of numbers will work, try it! (you won't find this in any maths book.)

I just want to confirm the successful results of your little life path number = birthday formula.


My birthday is July 3rd, 1957.
So according to your formula I would key in day/month/year and divide by 9.

3071957 / 9 = 341328.5555555555555555555555555.....to infinity

My journey has been a fourfold exploration of archetype these past 4+ years.
Starting with the number 4.

Back to the life path formula.

My birthday >>> 3/07/1957 >>> 3071957 / 9 (divide by 9) = 341328.55555555 ..... to infinity

Take the first 4 numbers from the result.

3 + 4 + 1 + 3 = 11 followed by 285 followed by an infinite string of 5s

LIFE PATH number =11285

Are you saying the 'Pythagoras number' is specifically 20163?

Those numbers have nothing to do with his 'birthday', so I tried to find more literature on that number...curious, what is the source?

No Raph, the pythagoras number is just the added reduction of any number set to a single digit. Division by nine is a short cut method and is the figure after the decimal. Another term for this process is 'cross addition'.

Whom are these " some" that call it the Pythagoras Number?

As far as I know lateral reduction has been one of the lowest forms of determining integers within numerology. I somehow doubt a great mathematical genius like Pythagoras would have used it ,as it is based in a misconception about the numbers and what they symbolize.

20163 is not 2+0+1+6+3=12, it is 20,000+100+60+3=20163.

I have always had a problem with lateral reduction, and will always challenge it's validity in math, as it is not based in math; if you use the symbol, it seems you must use what it symbolizes as well. Otherwise what is the point?

one could say 20163 is &+#+*+@+$=12 and it would hold as much water.

Cat-Sub, in numerology your birthday date calculates a life path number, this is done via 0+1+1+6+1+9+6+9 = 33 3+3 = 6. On a calculator it is 1161969/9 = 129,107.6666
