View Full Version : Arlington Institute Predicts October Surprise...

I'll just let this report speak for itself. It struck me as interesting since The Arlington Institute (the other TAI) has a pretty good track record and is not known for sounding the alarm just to garner attention...it's always a bit risky to do that anyway and they want to maintain public confidence in their work...
So they must have felt that this was important enough to take that chance.

I don't know too much about the web bot group in Olympia, despite the fact that I live there myself. I'll look into it and see what else I can turn up. Of interest is the fact that the web bot group is being very specific and are apparently quite convinced that 10-07-2008 is a pivotal date that will be remembered for years to come!
I guess it won't take long to find out since that is tomorrow!
I only know of one October Surprise that the general public has not heard of yet but I don't think this is what they are referring to, so I am as curious about this as anybody else.

WTF: Its goddam CLOVERFIELD MAN....
http://www.spaceweather.com/
If predictions were correct, asteroid 2008 TC3 (http://ssd.jpl.nasa.gov/sbdb.cgi?sstr=2008%20TC3;orb=1) hit Earth this morning (Oct. 7th at 0246 UT), exploding in the atmosphere over northern Sudan like a kiloton of TNT and creating a fireball as bright as a full Moon. Most of the 3-meter-wide asteroid would have vaporized in the atmosphere with only small pieces possibly reaching the ground as meteorites. The following potentially confirming report comes from Jacob Kuiper (jacobkuiper@solcon.nl), General Aviation meteorologist at the National Weather Service in the Netherlands: "Half an hour before the predicted impact of asteroid 2008 TC3, I informed an official of Air-France-KLM at Amsterdam airport about the possibility that crews of their airliners in the vicinity of impact would have a chance to see a fireball. And it was a success! I have received confirmation that a KLM airliner, roughly 750 nautical miles southwest of the predicted atmospheric impact position, has observed a short flash just before the expected impact time 0246 UTC. Because of the distance it was not a very large phenomenon, but still a confirmation that some bright meteor has been seen in the predicted direction. Projected on an infrared satellite-image (http://spaceweather.com/submissions/pics/j/Jacob-Kuiper-0810070300zmet7IRposplane_1223352768.jpg) of Meteosat-7 of 0300 UTC, I have indicated the position of the plane (+) and the predicted impact area in Sudan (0)."
2008 TC3 was discovered on Oct. 6th by astronomers using the Mt. Lemmon telescope in Arizona as part of the NASA-funded Catalina Sky Survey for near-Earth objects. Asteroids the size of 2008 TC3 hit Earth every few months, but this is the first time one has been discovered before it hit.

So, what's your Surprise...?oh...well it isn't mine personally to begin with...just something I have heard and am kind of waiting to see what happens...if anything. It has to do with Sarah Palin's covert political affiliations in Alaska...a group she was involved with until this whole VP thing jumped up from noplace. Turns out this group is secessionist...they want Alaska to secede from the union and this is a big deal with them...top of their agenda...take the oil and split, etc. After the VP thing she pulled out from the group and I believe has even made disparaging remarks about them publicly etc. There have been rumors that they mean to go public with this information sometime in October...let everybody know just how involved with them she really was...and this has been referred to off-handishly as the October Surprise...
It may never happen and so far it's all just rumors save for the fact that she was, in fact, involved with them on some level but McCain has a lot of money and connections and there are deals to be struck that might very well keep people silent. We may never hear anything more about this and anything I actually know about it is just rumors...I don't really have any certified facts on this. Obviously it could be politically damaging since it would define her as just about as un-american as it is possible to be and still be holding public office...
So we'll see...I am hoping it is all true and it all comes out in the wash. At the same time, I don't hold it against her personally...I don't think it's such a big deal until she starts in accusing Obama of being unamerican because he did some fundraising work with a guy who was in the Weather Underground when Obama was 8 years old for xst sake. And that guy has received a presidential pardon for his part in that chapter and is now a Distinguished Professor at a well known university...so apparently a lot of respectable people think he has paid his dues to society etc... Many people believe this was just a case of misguided patriotism anyway, like Greenpeace trying to stop oil tankers or attempting to prevent nuclear submarines from killing off the whales with their pointless sonar drills etc... Activism takes risks...sometimes foolish and often dangerous. The SDS never perceived themselves as *communists*...they saw themselves as patriots willing to attack those dragging America into an immoral *police action* neither Americans nor Congress had ever actually sanctioned. It's a well known political reality that if they don't fear you they don't respect you and the SDS, despite their tactics, did in fact succeed at shaking a lot of people out of their complacency. History will have to decide if they were justified or not. That priviledge has not been passed to Sarah Palin.
So it's very hypocritical and in light of that it would be cool if this information really did come out...She really did know what she was into and what the implications were etc... There may have been tactical appointments, contracts and/or favors connected to her involvement with this group...we just don't know yet.
So I guess you heard it here first...it's all just rumors at this junction as I said.

Interesting m1, since I've been hearing quite a bit about October 14th on web. It seems as though the source of one of those supa hip channelers has said the alien presence will be known on the 14th.
Just headin to bed but I'll be sure to read through the rest of the article tomorrow...if I can!

Is it a coincidence that the AIP shares initials with this thread's title...?
Guilt by association...
Alaskan Independence Party (http://www.akip.org/)
And while McCain's motto is "Country First,"
the AIP's motto is "Alaska First -- Alaska Always." :p

yeah...that's the group...supposedly she wasn't just a member but an important official within the party... I think they are pretty much comprised of a bunch of religious extremists etc...I don't really know too much about them though...
Anyway...I don't think the TAI readings have anything to do with this...somehow I don't see it as being drastic enough to suspend the whole campaign.
Of course...martial law certainly would do so and would probably ignite a civil war in this country as well...hate to keep mentioning that but it's true and has already been threatened loudly enough for elected officials to be complaining about it openly...
frankly...I'll take my chances on the space aliens...speekenzy tetractys??? wouldn't that be a hoot...
might get my freaking space lab yet!

The word from the northlands is that if the info isn't needed to squish the campaign it won't be released as it stands to ruin more people than just the Palin camp. And people who aren't running for office.
At least that's what our sources tell us. So don't hold your breath. The MccAin/Palin numbers are falling pretty steadily.
Dammit! I was so looking forward to a good brouhaha.

there's always good old-fashioned investigative journalism...
won't hold my damn breath in this cowardly age of media turntailism...
most of these company puppets wouldn't have the moxie to sniff out a rhino turd hanging around their necks anyway...
