If you've done anything in this field, please share your own experience.

What do immaterial beings tend to enjoy most for nourishment?
What are they most impowered by?

From what I've "seen", there are many different kinds of immaterial life, and each one has its own unique means of living. Ghosts, for example, [the sort which earlier had a material body] -- are repaired and empowered by returing into a hospitable/receptive material body, for a plethora of reasons of which I cannot individually list.

Beings not native to the earth [usually], will not find earth systems, beings or substances to be very nourishing, as they have grown accustomed to consuming what is abundant within their home-realm.

This fascinates me, the idea that an entity of a different realm might like foodstuffs from this one. I find it hard to believe really but I have heard that some occultists offer entities fruit.

I have often sat eating something and offered it to my dragon and he won't touch it, mind you, I suppose Marmite on toast (maybe Vegemite in other countries) might be pushing it a bit ; )

Maybe you ask them what they would like and hope its in the cupboard. Just a thought.

I know the Tibetans offer meats... Maybe cookies and milk if your ghost is a big fat man in a red suit with an extrodinary proclivity for date-specific inverse burglerization.... I would say that the key would be prana. My guess is that it's not so much the food, but rather the charge it carries. Thus, I suppose it could be said that a home cooked meal is like a charged talisman... Hmmm. 'Food' for thought.

Spiritual energy seems to be able to intermediate from its realm towards matter, often through water [h2o].

Things like water and carbon are what conduct well, in this sense. Lo, and it is what biological bodies contain much of.

*Blood, *sperm, *spinal fluid, *chlorophyll, and *fruit-juices.
^ - These, for example, would be most spiritually nutritious substances, for spirits which usedto live inside of material bodies.

What makes the offering even-more nutritious would be if you were to send healthy/supportive emotions into the substance, and [if you could] psychicly "digest"/process the instance -- more fully.

Out of those 5 substances that I've listed, you'll often find these being used in various magick rituals. It's no surprise why. Biofluids generate/give off small amounts of spirit, which can be absorbed into a living-soul-structure.

You could also make an object conscious, then engineer it to generate spiritual forms of food. I had an object like this once, for one of my 'servitors', but she was not always feeding at it. Soon later, other species of astral life were attracted to the food-source, and I made some new friends this way.

An ideal, spiritual feeding relic would be like a bottle of herbs and oil, with crystals and stones inside of it. Left standing upon a sigil, especially designed for feeding. Also, cast spells upon the object, antil its properly functional.

Remember to give the spiritual feeding relic a sort of immune-system, to keep astral parasites away. You may also wish to give it a sort of motherly personality.
