Been enjoying the articles here, and since I'm going light tonight, I figured that a ramblin muse would fill for my second post.
A bubble of sixes.
You must be of six through the twelve, if one is to become 24, to be six again.
Search then for the eight, for it is great. When the door rings - and the nine ask for dine, tell them, you need some time.
They like to comply, and don’t ever cry - when they find a loose six, down among the pick up sticks. Comfy in the living room not needing to groom, they clean up the house with their Love.
One espouses, “Give up your ties, with your ill gotten lies!”
Two pipes in and gives it a spin… “I am going to!” is all he gets out.
Three steps up and picks up the rug, watching them all face their mug.
Four, says “This is a boor!” and heads for the door.
Five swaggers in, drenched and looking like Flynn with a gin grin.
Six!
Some get their kicks, some get their say - all get the knowing of the loving the way.
It can be found in severance, or in seven rats. It can be found in places downtown, or just anywhere around…
What am I?
I thought I would say, but its all turning away and went plunging right off the rails!
Now what could one do? There was no way to stay and piece it back up without glue.
But one said “Your wrong!” and came on strong.
It was then U2, knew what to do - when the bubbles go down the drain.
