I have the lords prayer memorized. I have said the words for protection and to soothe a young child. I have felt them to be powerful and to call of a energy very powerful.

I don't believe in Christianity. Perhaps a sort of god.

The LBRP has the ending of the Lords prayer in it. And practicing the ritual of the LBRP has never felt right.

There are other Biblical references in it as well.

I have looked a for a history on it but i cant really find any.

What is the history of the LBRP {besides the golden dawn}, what do the verses mean, and i could just use the lords prayer {i am not much into structured magick} instead...right?

too many internal contradictions for my taste, but it seems to me the standard chaos response to this question would be ...*if it works - go for it*...or something like that...

Cool LTT!

I am big on Biblical Exegesis in general, the LP contains nuggets of pure meta info & describes very well *time*,the quantum loop gravity illusion.

Even tells you who invented it!

I have heard so many people say that they found power and protection in the Lord's prayer, though whether it is the energy we produce/tap into when we say it because or how we are feeling and intending ourselves or whether the combination of the words and numerology works or whether it gets us help from elsewhere is something I have often wondered, but yes, do what works is how I feel too when things are needed in a hurry.

I myself use LBRP as a form of intoning the 4 quarters of the world into a matrix of Phi which the pentagram is, the God-forms I just use to empower into myself forms of my growing own God-self. The arch-angels I grow and use inside myself as the ones watching over the elemental balance inside the psyche. After all these links are made I banish everything that is not of this from the 4 quarters of the world whereafter I might invoke certain balancing energies into my aura. Followed by another banishment.

If I didn't have this mental illness I would do things directly, but due to it rituals work very well along with symbology and metaphors....

I thought the Pater Noster (Lords Prayer) was part of a much longer Egyptian spell? I thought I read that somewhere. I have also seen some killer translations of it that read much, much more Gnostic.
