Still pretty young but I've been on a mission for a while. Not really purposefully -- it seems more of a natural drive towards integration. Also, I was picking up the pieces after rough times. I got a pretty educational experience of an omnidirectionally destructive mindset and it's implications. But my view shifted further. Pleasantly enough lol. Peoples' opinions and my own would fall apart in front of me. At a point that distressed me. Truth seemed nowhere to be found. Paradoxes seemed like an affront. Atlas Shrugged really got me thinking differently though. I already read a lot so just continued that and added the internet. Hermetics took some thoughts and concepts I was toying with as actually being useful and presented a whole lot more food for thought. I never got hard into any individual philosophies really but have studied a fair range. It feels natural. And living feels natural again too. I guess part of my reason for being here is to learn as much as I can about reality ('reality' in the least definitive sense.) I tend to think visually so sorry for the writing. haha
It wasn't as corny as it sounds.
So essentially, I'll try to lay my shit down with some coherence and I can't wait to explore whatever you
have to share. What fun we'll have! lol

Hey!
Any advice for a complete novice to projecting, ToL, Tantrism, Sacred Geometry, etc?

For projection, this book is, IMHO, the best one out there. Very pragmatic advice which can be utilized while skipping the theory sections altogether. The Trance Method in the book is the crux of the book. Definitely worth a read if you are interested in projection.
For beginner TOL I would check out S.L. MacGregor Mather's "Introduction to the Kabbalah Unveiled" or Dion Fortune's "Mystical Qabalah." Both are available online in pdf form, and with only a modicum of searching. Crowley's "777" is also a very handy resource, again only requiring minimum seeking. Asking on forums is a helpful way of learning about things that are difficult to grasp from the aforementioned texts, as well.

books are overrated. if they get you motivated, thats good.
books are misvalued. better to burn them
I never received knowledge from a book
why am I telling this?

Thank, everyone. I agree that books don't really teach. "Words are only fingers pointing at the moon."
haha Yeah, super-coherence is the name of the game. If it's inconsistent, that shows that another look is required.

hmm
We use words which don't seem to convey what we perceive. With enough words describing the right aspects, we could though?
You could mean a few things from where I stand... Intriguing; got any more thoughts that are related?
Edit:
hmm I think I might have a better idea what you might be saying. Word = moon in a broader sense than I took above?

Yeah, yeah.
This is exactly the issue... I don't know where you are coming from. Someone can say, "All is one," and 16 different people COULD be provoked to think of 16 different things...

OK, that's the broader sense I was thinking of.
Thanks, man.
We may still be thinking differently though! For instance, I notice that with each "revelation" or w.e, there are certain things that I thought seemed to hold validity but didn't realize how deep they went... Said, "Sure," but really had no fucking idea.
Yeah... From, "Not this, not that," to "This, that, whatever comes to mind, and anything that hasn't yet." But anyone can say it... To feel it completely, it seems one would lose all limits... I feel something lurking back there with the reigns saying, "Not just yet."
What if I said, "Thanks but the time is now?"
Let me see...
How far will this take me? LOL

yea, and later on you'll realize it goes even deeper. is there a bottom? no of course not.

OH! That should have been obvious... When you say it like that though.... Man, this is a blast!
