I know, Im repeating myself, but hey if it was fun before it may well be fun again.
I get up at an ungodly hour and get to watch m1thr0s sign off, lol, and the rest of you late sleepers straggle in. So here we get to say Good Morning to our fellow AHers...consider this our mutual morning coffee.
morning oazaki, you crazy devil...morning Yset, or have you slept yet...
Good morning Talking Fox, how many hours have you done in the gym so far?
Morning Aodh...and why arent you in school, young man?
fera, on about the 14th latte:mad:
I'm not in school because my mother doesn't know what promises to make, haha. All of my alarm-clock devices have recently died and I wake up at wonky hours (like, 3AM) and if I go back to sleep, don't wake up until something WAKES me up. (Like the sun creeping in through my window)
Last night I asked my mother if she'd wake me up this morning with the intention of buying an alarm clock after school today. She agreed. This morning I wake up at 7:15 AM, 20 minutes after the bus has been by. I walk into her bedroom and she is wide-awake, just laying there. Then she tried to say it was my fault for not waking up. She refused to write a late note so I decided to stay at home and have a day home alone.
In a less grumpy tone, GOOD MORNiNG!

I wish I could have a day at home from work alone:yes:
True enough.
Absences are an annoyance for me though when I'm trying to make sure my GPA stays high.

Good morning Lady F! :) Sorry, took my time getting to this one, and a few others, been busy moving forward 'The Work' side of things last few days...
So, my fantasies in the morning? Well, you know how men always wake up with a hard-on? Well then, why get out of bed? I want a woman, or women, who need no foreplay and are ready to just have it slide on in every morning, and go on top till I'm properly awake, and a servant to also have a morning spliff and coffee prepared for us when we finish, or during, or when we ring a bell or something. Oh and add fine quality silk sheets to that, a great view over the sea from a mountainous setting, large airy room, well furnished, with en suite Japanese bath, twin shower and steam rooms, plus a team of personal masseurs and a team of chefs.
So, quite easy fantasy really. When things get more unreal, I want to add various Japanese hentai to that scenario...

My morning fantasy is to wake up to breakfast in bed, my lover gone, and in his stead a note. More like a treasure hunt really. Make me work for it... LOL
its generally the men chasing me, so this really appeals to me. Make me hunt them down by clues to clues to clues, then by the time I get there Im so flustered I simple tell him to take me now...

Awwww thanks Fera. I love those little buggers...they be thick up here and are a never ending source of amusement. OH as an aside, we've got a wolf pack living less than 15 minutes from the house and we occasionally get to see them. Seems they frequent a rather popular sledding hill...

It sounds so magickal where you are. Its a very rare thing to see a wolf here, but if you know where to go at the right time you can hear them...no sound like it...
When I lived deeper in the woods, I had several little red foxes who'd come and hunt in the back. I'd sit all afternoon watching them pounce...too adorable. And don't get me started on the otters! We lived very close to a stream, and the otters were a whole day's entertainment.

Depends on where you are. The further from town (Anchorage...the only REAL town) the cheaper the rent, but the larger the redneck factor and the rougher it is to make a living. Think Yukon territory as far as cultural stuff goes....

Can't do BC , too much emotional baggage there. My sister in law and niece live there and I do visit, but - it's shrouded in painful memories and I find it hard to even spend more than a few days. Beautiful part of the world though - I've always wanted to kayak in the Queen Charlottes, and I hope to give workshops at www.hollyhock.ca (http://www.hollyhock.ca) on holistic animal care someday too. I thought I noticed a bit of Ojibwa in your pic (I've met people of Ojibwa before). You're welcome to pop by any time, although it's only fair to warn you that I'm both single AND in my thirties lol

I'm picturing making scones on a peat fire out on some rocky shore with the wind wailing around, spirits everywhere...or perhaps I've read a few too many DF novels...
Hhmm, soon we will have to add a "Good Afternoon Abrahadabra" to keep this conversation rolling.
Get out of bed you lot! lol

Nah, peat's an Irish thing. It's coal in Wales, though we've all switched to more modern and less pollutive forms of heating by now. Rocky shores, wind and spirits is a given though.

A wee nip of something fiery wouldnt go amiss right now if thats the kind of spirits youre tlaking about...still, these forays into fantasy are cheering up an otherwise dreary working weekend. What's everyone else doing online on a Saturday? Pity the poor self employed Canadia, working all day every day...

Actually I was thinking more of the other kind of spirits, though Im sure there's a bottle of Brandy somewhere. I prefer tea in this weather. I almost feel sorry for your predicament, but the weather's equally bad over here, and night fell hours ago, although on the plus side I'm not doing any work today.

Ah, lucky you - I've been working all day but I have the very good fortune of loving what I do and I still get super excited when i have a client I know I can make a big difference to. Today's been one of those days - work work work, but I feel accomplished and energized, I literally can't wait to see this dog improve!
Staying alive on coffee though - no spirits of any kind while working. :)
Tomorrow will be another story - I'll see you all in the alcoholic thread. Must be very late in Wales, Ci Celli?

20:45, not too late, though fairly late if you got up like I did at 16:00 yesterday. Ah well, back to university on Monday.

Are you starting to feel like we're having a private discussion in public here?
That last post has me curious as to what you're studying....lol..I'm hoping to go back part ime this year if at all possible and finish my BA in religion, don't know if I will be able to as I work a lot and am always advancing my studies in the dog world, but I surely would love to take at least a course per semester.

Good morning all,
I havent been able to post much lately - this funny little thing called WORK just happened in a big way here, lol - but I've caught my breath now and man, what a lot of good threads, posts etc - hope to catch up over the next few days.
how's everyone coping with winter, if it's winter where you are? I trust no one has the flu (knock wood..)
Good morning, Abrahadabra...

Good morning Fera :)
Glad to see that work, money and time to spare are all beginning to settle down nicely for you...
Winter is fun enough, when it snows or something useful applies. Had some snowball fights yesterday, which were fun. All melted now though...
Snow's prbbly deep out where you are no? Man, it's been a long time since I went skiing, miss doing that...
warm regards,
Oaz.

Hi again you!
Work is crazy, and no spare time but I am determined to make some anyway. I need to be here for my sanity, to explore and honour the "feranaja" side of me, and just to hang with people I've grown very fond of over the years.
I'm making supper for a few of my favourite people on Sunday - I havent cooked up a storm for humans in a long while, I am so looking forward to it. (There will be rabbit casserole served to the fourleggeds, too).
WE have extreme cold now and I hate it. Skiing and all the associated rituals are a lot of fun though - but I could really live without this cold weather! Its hard on the dogs paws and on my nerves, I hate being cold.

Good Morning AF, or as they say round here: Bore Da!
Well, I say good morning because it's 06:50, but I've been up since 17:00 yesterday, posting and editing articles like this one (http://cy.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arthur_Machen) on Wicipedia (http://cy.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hafan).
Will I go to bed or to university? Decisions, decisions...

Morning, I say bed. I only got up to make a huge mug of tea, then same as you really, college or bed. Right now, its chilly, so bed is the preferred option whilst I make up my mind ; )

Oh I'm jeakous, how I wish I had options! Made a pot of French Roast and straight to work. I do 2 hours of email catch yup from my yahoogroup before dogwalking and starting the "real" day.
AF keeps me sane!
Good morning all,

Good morning, Abrahadabra. I just looked at the calendar and realized it's ALMOST OVER!!! The freezing blowing bitter minus forty horror is soon to melt into a glorious Gatineau Hills spring and I for one cannot wait.
Things all good here othr than too much work and I never get caught up. Lila is very well, Danny about 65 pounds now and an ambassador for the breed, so clever and loves everyone. Not sure when I am moving but I can't wait for that ...life is good. How is everyone else?

We actually had a whole day of snow in central London this year, god it was such good fun for those of us who managed to get to the park early enough to catch it as it fell :D

I look out the window here and see the sun has not risen yet and it is still nightime...
Later, in due course, the Sun shall rise, as it has before...
all the best,

sought vainly the springtime warmth
finding the frost waiting
